Now while I think Maths post is a little extreme, I do believe the response of the public is a little over the top. The truth is if you had a national poll today and yesterday about your thoughts of MJ, 95% of yesterday's would say Lunatic/Crazy or Child Molestor w/e the **** other negative shit, and today it'd be all Loved Hero. Now while it may sound cold the MJ we respected and loved "died" 15 years ago. Ever since, whether due to his ****ed up raising as a child star or drug abuse or thousands of other catalysts, he's been a completely different person. His death is already being cashed in on, look at iTunes. They are advertising his music like nobody's business on the front page of the store for 1.29 a song, now all his songs are in the top 100 downloaded. It's a shame. I feel bad for his family, not only for his loss but for the debt they'll be inevitably inheriting.
And of course Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon's deaths were overlooked which is also a shame. CNN had a maybe 15 second long clip about the 2 of them. Sad week.
Gogo first (and maybe last post) in forever.
