I have heard of a few people that use a Barbarian to MF. It expnecisve to do but once u get him all set up with the right gear and a merc I heard he can get good drops from meph like every run. Items are
2x Ali Baba's /w 2x Ist in each
Shako /w Ptopaz or IST
Skullders Ire /w Ptopaz or IST
War Travs
Chancies
Mara's for Resistance or Rare Mf Amulet
2x Narglings
Goldrap
and some MF charms
and u need a godly merc that kills Everything that comes in its Way.
ne one know if tis would work?

That would take FOREVER to do a pindle run. You will need to find 2x runemasters with 5x ists, CoH with 2x ist, Enigma, Travs, Highlord's, 2x high nagels, goldwrap, rare/crafted gloves with MF and + to barb skills and IAS.

ya a good idea but it would still be a very long run i think you should try it that must have MAJOR mf though i think it would be worth the w8

yeah, but if ur merc sux or dies how are you going to kill anything? using nagels means u cant use angelics for the AR and i doubt u will spend much on dex cuz u need the life. using 2x 6ist phase blades wouldnt be all that bad for weapons. probably get killer drops once u kill a boss

But that's ONCE you kill a boss... And it's as hard as hell to leech from meph, that's for sure.
And runemasters are the best MF weapons for barbs, since they do decent damage for MF runs, and they have up to 5 open sockets in which you can put Jewels and Runes in (gems are out of the question). If you want, you can get eth ones and use zod, and use 40/15's to increase the killing speeds, or amn or vex to increase leech, or whatever else you'd like to do.

thats y u have like ebotd/ss or some weapon thats good on ur second weapon, get the boss down to low life, swap weapons to the 2x 6ist phase blades and u got ur full mf.

now pay attention, with this setup at lvl 90 enigma gives u 90 mf+ up to 40 from gheeds+360 mf from weapons= 490% mf which is pretty decent

thx  martass2 and yeah 400%+ mf is pretty good, even if u have 800+ mf (i had 850 once) you wont do much damage and ur drops arent all that great. my best drops with my sorc that had 850+ mf was 198% eth zak and 48% travs(one run)...my best drops from my sorc with 450 mf which does at least twice as much dmg is 5/5 fire die facet, shako and ss (one run also). i kept finding good stuff every now and then on the 450mf sorc but i only found a great item after quite a bit of runs on my high mfer. i say stick with silver's plan

high mf = low damage that's why about 450-550 mf is pretty decent.

how do you get coh with 2 ists? wouldn't that make it random arm????

did you count 40x 7%mfscs, 6ist crystal sword, 4ist monarch, skullders with ist (lvl 99 char, i dont know exact but i know it can get 124% w/o ist), isted shako, some 32%+ mf rings, 48% mf ammy perf travs/chancies, and dont forget the merc gear(act 3 merc so u can use sword/shield), skullders with ist, shako ist, could get a 6ist crystal sword and 4ist monarch. That gives you around 1490% mf. but ur dmg probably sucks so gl on actually killing a boss.
add a 40 gheeds and u got 1540% mf

Shako with ist doesn't give the most MF from a helm...

You said 40x 7% smfcs, which means no room for Gheeds.
