Lag Like Never Before

Hey I've been running D2 off my computer at college for the last two months and all of a sudden, after running practically perfectly, I lag all the time in games....according to D2loader as much as 5 sec, which really sux and usually ends up in a conneciton interrupted and realm down. I wanna know if theres any reason why this is happening, liek is something wrong with uswest? well suggest wat u can....its really irritating to only be able to play for 5 minutes b4 being booted....my dialup at home runs faster, its really sad....

PS I dont think I have a bandwidth prblem cuz, when I have it running, my limewire get up to 500+kbs...

Use spyware scanner, preferrably Yahoo!'s.

I tried that and my computer got super-fast after a week of lag.
Then use an anti-virus software like Norton, and scan your PC.

And don't run too many side-by programs like WMP (Windows Media Player) and stuff like that, unless you're perfectly sure your computer can handle it.

i had that happen and doing a sytem recovery fixed them entire problem...side effect is that i had to re-install diablo and every thing else ...it was the last resprt...dont do it unless u cant find any thing else
