How do you Gain Rep Points and What do They Do?

i was fortunate to see i had recieved a rep point my first day of posting on the forum :laugh: i am just kind of curious of what these are good for and if it is good that i got one.. thanks to anyone that can help me out

other people give u rep points and they determine what kind of person u are the more u have the more people trust u etc also a chance u will becoem a mod maybe(not sure)

So can only mods give them to you ? or can any person just give you a rep point.. also if anyone can do it how do you for sure.. i know you tried to tell me yesterday but i guess i am not quick witted enough

there si a small grey box at the bottom of ur profile has a check and an X clcik on that and just write a small reputation request and thats its

I'll never become a Mod because for everyone that likes me for who I am another 2 hate me because they happen to fall under the "Idiots" column that I made. I have the tendency to be a pompous asshole as well as a nice guy. People never remember the good.

he auctions stuff for points... also if u get 50 rep points ur title changes, when u move your mouse over the green box. im at 50 right now so mine says "silver_ice1212 will become famous soon enough"

i think so.... if u search under allisurd's profile, check threads and u will see new feature rep points, read about it, normal people give 1, mods give 10
