im pretty sure it will dissapear if u put it into a cta. im pretty sure it would make the entire cta go bye bye

no silver, the cta would not dissapear.. If anything were to dissapear if it was in a runeword, at all (which is highly unlikely), just the rune would dissapear leaving the incompleted item.

its happenend to people before in the 1st ladder season with bugged enigmas, some of them had all 3 of the runes dissapear but the stats stayed the same leaving it a 3 open socket enigma, then the problem was fixed but the entire item dissapears now.

If i combine 2 lesser runes to make the higher one, like 2 gul + ruby = vex, will that perm the rune and make is so it won't disappear on me.

I was going to ask about this a few days ago. just did not want to start a thread and put it in the wrong place or anything lame. So the question is. Are there other ways to perm a duped item. Was once told that if you used the personalized quest in act 5 on a .09 crual 6 socket blah blah blah. that it would perm and even be around in .10 Not that i had one. I know it's a bit off topic but not to far.

silver the key word is "bugged" yes if they are bugged then naturally bnet would be eagar to get rid of them.

U can perm a rune buy selling the duped thing to akara (or other npcs) and then buying it back.
Beware costs lot of money for high runes ^^

If you put a duped rune into an item, then it may not dissapear when you leave the game, but when blizzard does one of its little sweeps with the "rust storm" the item may very well dissapear because of teh rune.

Answer is plain and simple. The rune won't dissapear but the whole runeword could be gone because of dupe scan, or other dupes in the game.

it will poof i had coh and a cta poof this season it might not poof as fast as just the rune itself but there is a real good chance it will poof
