If that doesnt perm,or you cant change a name, how do u perm correctly. i've heard different ways of doing it... but want to make sure... i want to trade for wizz spike gloves (all are named the same)and dont want to lose it right away.!1! thx for the helpBig Grin

Anya naming is personalizing, not perming.. although I suppose it could be used as a way to try and perm an item. Not sure.

I hear different ways too, but none of them ever seem to actually work. At least not "permanently." Wink It's up to you to try them.. I just wouldn't trade for the gloves and find something legit to use.

I heard the best way is too go into trade with the same person right after you trade with them and it will perm your item. I don't know how that works but yea hfday is right, there are hundreds of ways out there.

agreed escaron and hfday, there are several ways to perm an item, by experiance i like the trading one. Open a trade with a player right before you leave the game and when the trade screen comes up exit out of it and quickly leave the game. Its by far the easiest.

the only way to permanently perm an item is to upgrade it(cube recipe, mainly ladder EX. Higher runes, and higher-class items) but, opening a trade then closing and leaving does a temp perm, so they wont disappear until you leave the next game, unless you temp perm again, i've also heard selling and buying back will temp perm, but, you gotta have a good chunk of money, and gotta make sure the vender can hold it b4 you sell it, not positive if that one works, but the others do

I don't think perming item through vendors works because most items just plain dissapear because there is no slot for them to go in. For example runewords ussually dissapear because the vendor doesn't see that the item matches any categories so it is placed in oblivion. It works for some but mostly not but if you want to take the risk than go for it.
