"perming" duped runes

Ppl say duped runes will disappear after a while right?
will selling it to ashop and buying it back makes the rune permernant?
meaning its "real"....cos my ber poofed yesterday...
[no wonder that guy offered a ber to lvl him =\]
btw...if im makin a enigma...jah ith ber right..if the ber rune is duped...and ive already made it...will the entire enigma disappear or will the ber just disappear?
OR nothing will disappear at all?

I've never had a duped rune placed into a socket disappear. I think that is the only way to "perm" it.

Or just put it on a mule and never take it into public games. 2 duped bers in same game = bye bye.
