Poison Necro

How expensive is a poison necro do do decent damage? I have been reading different guys and I am thinking about making one after my mf character on ladder. Do you really need like 3 or 5 facets to do good damage and Bramble or can you do it with just + to skills?

My necro is doing 9k I think right now, level 65 with level 41 poison nova. My weapon at the moment is suicide branch, so I'll be getting another +3 skills when I get my Death's web. You don't really need bramble, I'm not even gonna use it. I'm going to use enigma so I can teleport. Without bramble, the poison is still gonna be strong.

Depends on level of thorns and % psn dmg.

But does it do decent dmg in the end (AKA Hell mode) without +% to poison dmg? Or Hav I misinterpreted and this is strictly PvP?

I'm not sure if it's any good in hell. Works well for pvp though.

Poison necs are good for PvP unless they have mass psn res and reduce gear, luckily it can't be absorbed. It would do ok in PvM as long as you have another char with you to kill psn immunes I suppose.:devilish:

Renember to use the resist curse. Very important and evil.
Good in PvP, team PvP, Baalruns and monsters.

not realy, but it owns at PvM. poison is a bit hard in duels from my experiance, usualy my friends just run back into town

I bet you dont renember how it is when you start playing diablo and dont have any rich friends or good items.
I renember how godly a viper magi was for me then, but atm it is shit.
So what am trying to say, is that i cant call this a poor mans build, cause it is average.

you gotta use blackbogs it adds 5/4/4 to psn skills i believe..this really helps the synergies

Keitaro, you dont max fire.....you max clay because, it slows enemys so they take longer to get to you. Cold/slow + poison = awsome.

1 HP + Fire Golem = 0 HP
0 HP = Dead
