Best MF Type?

I Was just wondering whats the best character to do mf runs. I have a orb sorc now but she seems to not get the job done. So whats your opinion?

Blizz sorc with a good equiped merc

Dun use a merc...if ure using the moat thingie for meph...he'll die before u kill meph...or left with 0-20% of his life...
Just use a nice equip blizz sorc...tals armour,shako,tals ammy,tals belt,occy,nice shield...[4ist monarch]/rhyme,war travs...chance guards,nagel,nagel...mfscs...and thats all...

I disagree with not using a merc, using a offensive merc (all act 2 of course) he will give you enhanced attack rating (good for barb and zon), and a defensive will give you beefed up defense when aura is equipped. My lil ole merc is lvl 95 and does in the neighborhood of 3.5k-14k dmg when using concentration. for quick runs through places I've found a correctly built fire and ice sorc is good for almost any place especially if you are running the Pit or any area that has different immunities. You can also equip yourself if you have with low end str high def Enigma giving %MF based on character lvl. Try and shoot for 300MF or better although if you go to much higher your really gonna slow down your killing power. I personally like to use my Hammerdin for monsters like Meph 4-5 hits and hes done, then knock Andy down, Eltritch and Pindle and start over. Hammerdins also good for solo runs on baal very efective and this is where that lil ole lvl 95 merc comes into play with his additional dmg. One thing to remember about which ever way you go with a sorc, make sure you have some kind of backup because of the immunities.

elite hammerdin vs elite blizz sorc... a blizz sorc isnt really faster, but blizz sorces can kill a wider area quicker
blizz sorces are good for rich and poor for mfing, i personally use a nm act 2 defensive merc for holy freeze too

ok when ur in hell find small charms haft to be in hell thow so take them if there not mf ones and put one in the cube with 3pgems trans it my change to mf charm if not do it again till it changes k thats what i do

well i would normally use a nice equipped fire sorc for meph, and a nicely equipped bliz sorc for pindle, andy, and duriel.

also i think im going to be addicted to d2 sector. im new :-)

Barbs are very good mf-ef with elite equipment. They can get 300mf from just a 6iste'd phase blade ( x2). I know its alot of ist's but hell, if you could woundn't you?.

As long as they have like botd's as a switch just beat em down and switch for the kill.

fire sorcs are good fer meph cuz theres a spot next to the portal across the area where u cant walk to...tele there get bak far enuf so he cant hit u nd jus keep fbin him :devilish:

right now i got a lvl 75 blizz/chain lightning sorc for mf....i just recently put her in hell (gotta find sum hell baal runs :/ ) so right now i just go into nightmare, kill countess, andy, then meph...havent gotten anything too good yet, then again im doin mf runs in nm....o, by the way, here's her equipment:

Armor: P-Topaz'ed Skullders
Gloves: 38% Chancies
Boots: 36 Travs
Ring 1: 29 Nagel
Ring 2: 29 Nagel
Helm: P-Topaz'ed Tal Helm
Weapon 1: 2-2-1 Tal Orb
Shield 1: Lidless
Weapon 2: Ali Baba
Shield 2: Rhyme
Charms: Gheeds (27 mf, i think) and a 7mf large charm

with my 1st weapon set on (tal orb and lidless) i got 386% mf
and with my 2nd weapon (ali baba and rhyme) i got 486% mf

Yes i do. Central (Middlesex).

Btw if anyone wants to take time away from a sorc barbs can get 900+ mf and still kick ***.

Anyone want a guide or should i not even bother?
