Let skill+ do the trick for frozen orb, and cold mastery is needed at high lvl for cold skills to be affective.

what about cold immunites. Does cold mastery abolish cold immunities as does amplify damage with physical immunites?

thats what i was afraid off... a hybrid sorc will come across alot of fire and cold immunites in hell. Suggest a sorc build and i'll make one

Well, it's all right for hell. My sorc is only lv77 and dies a lot, but try using K's build. Slightly different from my own and I think it'll be better.

I just die a lot 'cause I get lazy/careless etc.
