Best soceress type for magic find

i've been having a think about this for awhile. I've seen alot of guides for magic finds sorcs and all are different type, but most seem to be just fire or just ice. What is the best type or is it good to mix?

atm i've got a lvl 37 ice sorc:

70 str
30 dex
80 vitailty
100 energy


1 warmth
3/4 ice bolt
10/11 ice blast
1 glacia spike
10 blizzard

and all pre req

(not eaxctly sure at this moment if these are eaxct, prob not, but they are similar)

i'm going to:

max blizzard, ice bolt and blast, glacia then mastery

enough str and ex for items
vitality - 120 min
energy - 150 ming

is this a good build? can ne1 offer tips?

Hmm..
Max Blizzard first, then Cold Mastery.
Mastery is better than all the syn-energy together.
Else, it looks pretty ok.
Maybe 1 point in teleport and 1 point in shiver armour.

Use enough str for your eqipment.
Enough dex for eqipment
Vitality rest
Energy shoud be around 100

Use 2 SoJ to get the mana boost and frostburn.
Snowclash (Blizzard Bonuses)
4 socket monarch with 4 Ist runes (Awsome value and 100% mf)
Ali Baba with 2 Ist runes (over 100% mf here too)
Skullders Ire as armour socket with Ist or P.Topaz (think it was over 100)
Maras or 3+ cold skill with 40% mf amulet
Shako with Ist or P.Topaz (around 75%)

On switch you have a CtA//Lidless to boost your life.

Get 7% mf, 20 life small charms to have in inventory or 1+ cold skill grand charms


This is maybe a little expensive, but works well.

yeah i'll leave energy now, already got 1 into tele, forgot to mention that i got light skills up to ts, 1 point in each for cold immunes.

yeah those items sounds nice, it's just starting off finding items with no mf :/
but i have to admit i've found like lower set items (isenguard, angelic) and The Chieftan Axe without any mf from meph in my first few runs

Keep in mind that those items are worthless. Anywayz for mf purposes i prefer a 3 ist headhunters. Less str + lots of other mods = ownage over a 4 ist monarch.

Ok first off you have way to much energy cut back on that. You should remake. PLus your skill are also messed up.

You should only have a few skills in light. I havent played d2 forever but you need 4 skills in light . Tele and stat field plus pq. Then in fire just warmth. Then in the ice cold max blizz then glacial, then mastery, followed by blast and lastly bolt.

As for stats here ya go.

I am trying to remember but i think 92 str to wear all equip not sure that sounds high.
dex around 60-75 is a good bet but i always go 100 for some reason.
Rest in vit. you will have over 1000 life and around 700 mana with good equip. Also you should have around a 4-5k blizz. Which rapes. Except for the pure dd who can do up to a 10-12k blizz.

Skulder's has a 97 STR requirement.

Dex should ALWAYS be base for a sorceress. I've NEVER heard of a build minus a block sorc where you put any points in dex.

With that you get a lot more into vit and can spare 10-20 points in energy as needed.

EDIT:

Also, max blast before spike. It does more damage and IMO makes for a much better secondary than spike does.. you can cast without delay and you only sacrifice the very small area of effect. :x
