Sorceress Question

Is a lightning/cold sorc any good? Or pure lightning? I'm considering the latter, but I need builds. Stats (put this this level, that that level, and so on)/gear/equipment. Mostly MF.

Lightning/cold sorc could be a nice build..

Just make sure you think well where you put your stat points. (something I didn't do with my cold mf sorc -.-)

Or you could check some build guides, which will probably get you the desired result.

i prefer cold sorc u should put about 80 pts into str (enuf 4 occy/skulders after charms) Not much into dext, i have only like 40 on mine, 80-100 pts into enrgy, and the rest into vitality. put 1 pt into all prerequisites 4 orb and then at lvl 30 alternate between orb and mastery. then once youve maxed those skills, max ice bolt (as it is a synergy of orb) By lvl 65ish u should max the prb spell and all its synerigies. Along the wayit wouldnt hurt to get pts into the cold shields. i prefer the middle one (i cant think of the name) becauseit gives me 2x def and it freezes if the get a chance to hit me. dont 4get the shako

I think I've decided on a CL/FO sorceress. But can anybody give me a build..? I'm aiming to do as many runs as possible, but primarily countess/meph + the other "main" areas, e.g. pit, jungles, river, etc. and do them as fast as possible.

Once again: stats/skills/gear.

Another question: Should I go for max block, or vit?

I'll basically be using this eq, unless somebody can give me better:

Vipermagi (or Skulder's?)
Harlequin Crest (ptopaz)
Storm Shield or Whistan's Gaurd (alt. Lidless Wall w/ pdiamond)
Frostburns/Chance Gaurds
Stone of Jordan or Dual Mod FCR magical ring
Ravenfrost or +Mana/resists rare ring
Occulus (alt. Wizspike)
War Traveler's
Tal Rasha's Fine Spun Cloth
Tal Rasha's Adjudication or Dual Mod +3 Lightning amulet

Hopefully somebody can help. Also need skill allocation help.. ;\

dont use tals belt, use the arachnid sash if u can afford or find one, and use skulders

yeh if u wanna use tals at all you should prolly then go for the 3x tal pieces (armor, ammy, and belt) for the extra 65% mf. this if you said you wanted to go with mf. add this to the fact that you can get like 112% mf from the armor if a topaz is put in, and also the 15% mf in the belt.

Can't afford arachs yet. lol I have higher alternatives in mind, these are just basics to get me started.

I'm going for MF, but this is probably going to become more of a countess runner, and since MF doesn't effect rune drops it's probably better to balance the equip more towards killing, and/or have two. One for MF (pit, maybe meph, etc. and then one for rushing/countess or something)
