My sorc uses:

Tal Ammy+Belt+Armor (with a ptopaz)
Shako (ptopaz)
Occy-lidless (gull+20 mf shield on switch)
Chance guards (35% or so)
Wartravs (44%)
Gheeds (40%0
And some mf scs
gets down to 500-570 mf, and some days I find ****, some days I find godly, so IMO it is just all luck. Although the sorc is cheapest to make into an mf-char

Yeh i beleive this is the setup for my blizz sorc, tryin' to balance mf,fcr,+skills:

Eth upped skullders (w/ptopaz)
+3 cold skills ammy
Snowclash
Shako (w/ptopaz)
occy/splendor(wizzy+spirit on switch for tele)
p Chancies
War travs
2x pnagels
gheeds+some smfc's

i think my mf is around 470 or so; good enough for me. i still need the dmg to be able to kill, and mf is mostly just luck to kick in and get lucky.

i use a blizzy sorc really successfully, bjut i got bored so i'm building a light sorc..

i like my sorc. if i'm in a solo game, i can handle immunes fine. i have an eth bonehew, eth shaft, and gaze merc. if they're cold immune, few statics and mymerc has them dead in about 3-10 secs. i can drop meph fasrt enough to where my merc loses no more than half health, never die -vs- countess, andy, or meph.. and i cow fast as hell. i've successfully solo'd baal twice, but thwas luck heh.



hammerdins are best for botting IMO.. baal botting anyway. that seems to be the craze with everyone

My lvl 90 MF Hammerdin: 2x P Nagels, 1x P tal belt (37%+/- dmg taken goes to mana good cause your in the middle of the fray) P travs, P Chancies, Hoto, Enigma, Umed Shako, Umed Hoz, Maras, P Gheeds, 20x 7% mfsc and it all comes out to about 500% MF, I use YAMB Countess, Pindle, Shenk, Eldritch, Andy, Meph, with a lvl 90 Act2 Def merc with 20% dr gaze, Eth Shaft, and Tomb Reaver, and of course CTA. I've died about 3 times in 2k runs and I find things such as 2soc COA, Griffons, etc. Pally bye far wins it because of their ability to survive and to kill any boss.
