i tell you guys what, in the weeks leading up to my banishment i had SOOOOO many scams attempted on me. the most popular of course was "hang on lemme make room for trade!" i didn't fall for that one the first time it happened 5 years ago, and i damn sure didn't fall for it after that. the biggst thing you people need to do is CHECK THE ITEM BEFORE YOU CLICK THE CHECK MARK. thats my advice. never be in a hurry to make a trade. take ur time. and you will become the uber scam-eliminator.

I have had so many people try those scams where they rearrange their stuff, and I've also had about two people try the DND scam on me. One thing I have noticed about people that do the dnd scan is that it's usually in a game like "free soj" ,Or "Free Nigma". Also whenever you see a game that is like "i dupe you" don't bother going in, because it's generally a scam.

im new to this forum , but it seems to me, the people who are dropping items in a game , and leaving for a xfer aren't really getting scammed. They didn't trick you into dropping your items, you dropped them and they took it. That's just being stupid. Now 1 of my freinds dropped once, and i took it, but a msg him back a few days later and gave it back, i felt bad.

Discription: This is a mostly my fault, but this cat tried to pass off a free account by asking people what they wanted the password changed to. You accidently give them the same password as your current account, and they log into yours, empty it out, and they're on their way. Do me a favor and harass this person if you get the chance.

just a quick thing i heard lol ok i remember this from like 1.10 i was doing a drop trade 4 torch guy goes hey u wanna know a secure way to do this? and im like sure sup? he goes ill call in to -blizzard- people (ahahaha) and give them our items and they use a special program to transfer it. im just like hmm giving a complete stranger 2 sojs ummm nah.... and then im like hmm i didnt know blizzard did that. He goes yeah they do its not a SCAM eaither. and im like hmmm i go on that site almost every day to check 4 an update on games and u think im supposed to belive that shit. Well i didnt and i reported him and got him banned. just thought id say that cause ive heard it happen b4.

When I first was getting into the game, some jackass told me to visit a site and he'll give me a free Tal mask. I was young and stupid so I visited this site. The next thing I know, all my shit is dropping out of my character (armor, helm etc).

Funny thing is that all my stuff was crap since I was a noob at the time. Ha! Stupid scammer.

The real nasty ones are the ones that drop all the stuff on 1 char then move on to the next one and keep going. Course you can just plug pull but w/e still really gay just be smart ...99% time unless it is a game I created (I'm just nice like that) they arn't giving frees away (yea I gave away tals mask and some other uniq stuff in a game). Same thing with like free bot here. Why would you want a free bot since they are free anyways. all you need to do is configure it which I guess is why people fall for it because they don't want to take the time to learn how to use the program. Another clear sign is if you are asked to download the program and you actually download it if it takes 1-2 seconds and it was a "bot" it is just some drop program or a trojan.

theres this guy....lich-kingxx he tried doing the /dnd thing on me i said no...so he tried doing all these scams....like going near akara dropping an item and pressing alt+f1+f2+f3+F4.....closes diablo ....he tried the cube trick that makes u lose connection....he tried using websites...really big scammer

Is this lich-king on Europe realm coz if he is he is my best friend and I SWEAR to God that he will never scam anyone I have never seen him in my life and I transfer enigmas and stuff like this with him
