Disappointing

I'm a new member here at the d2sector forums and i love it. I was looking around reading some of the forums and i saw a lot of people asking what is the best character? Well every character has his/her own style of playing. NO character is bad in this game. If people realized this and stopped asking others what to do you would realize the game is MUCH more fun when you play the game figuring out your own strategy. I find it really boring building the same MF sorc, getting rushed, and meph time and time again. That also brings up the subject of rushing. Rushing is pointless. After you are rushed you either Baal or Cow for pretty much rest of the game. What do you get? A high level character that doesnt deserve to be named Guardian or Patriarch. Sure you can say that you have a really high leveled character but it doesn't mean anything if you haven't beaten the game on your own or with a friend thats at your same pace. Also i would like to bring up the subject of people who buy items (E-bayers more commonly known as). GET A LIFE:confused: . Wasting money so you can look cool and kill monsters easier, ITS NOT WORTH IT!!! I've seen way to many people who have gotten items that they dont deserve because they are too lazy to try and find those items by yourself. Finding items is about a fourth of the game! There are many things out there that are taking away the purpose of Diablo II and im only touching on a few. I hope this has cleared up some questions you may have had.

dude, the point of a game is to have fun. if gettin rushd n doin meph or buyin ur items gives you the enjoyment, then thats all that matters. if u want to take hours doin it yourself so u can have pride in a self-raised character, good for u

Diablo II is about fun, but I don't believe you should be wasting money on something were you sit and look at a computer monitor. What i'm trying to tell you there is a whole different world from which everybody plays. I think people would be able to have more fun playing and not have to waste money on something like this. If you don't agree with this I'm fine with that. I am just trying to show people you dont have to spend more that $40 (or w/e you payed to get this game) to enjoy this game.

Hey i like ebayers, i sold my 2 accts for 85.00$, If people werent buying D2 stuff off ebay i wouldnt have money to get my mom a Xmas present lol

it is disappointing to see ebayers out there buying items...... they are the people who have lost their focus in d2....... they will only want more and more items...... and the suppliers....... they are no better, selling items just because....item selling should be illegal on d2

as for rushing... i find its not pointless if u can use it for hell hellforges.

Of course we say e-bayers, but wow what about all the spammers on the chat itself! If what you are looking for is going from 1-99 on your own, cool. I would reserve that kind of play for ladder where at the end if u reign supreme you get some cool gift from bliz. As for NL well I think most people get sick of gettin owned not to metnion just trying to keep with the rest of the group. To be honest what other sets aside from tals/mavs/ik is even worth a $hit. Even with the 23 new runewords Enigma's still run top of the list for Armor as well as COHs depending on the build. Another factor is how discouraging it is to play a game for 6 or 7 years and highest runes ever found being vex x 2. No I didn't go out and e-bay, not gonna waste anymore money, but do trade items for all of those duped runes out on chat. As someone mentioned it's where u find your enjoyment in the game. I almost think blizzard could care-a-less at this point if peeps dupe or not. If they did and it was a factor they were willing to concern themselves with well get ready to give up a couple of $s every month to play. I would pay it just to see the dupers and selling stop, then we would go back to whos really top.

I dont realy see anything wrong with rushing as long as you have played the full game with your friends on occasion
but ebaying should be illeagle and i would never lower myself enuff to buy items online
a few of my friends sold there accs when they quit which kinda makes me mad becouse when i quit im gunna give all my stuff to my friends

I dont see how u can make fun of ebayers when most of u use bots, You arent working hard to find your items u are just leaving your bot on while u do something else.

To me the game is finding better items and trading up to get the stuff you want, I do agree that you should play through this game once on your own or with a friend, but after the first time you couldnt pay me to play through it again.
As for the guy's that buy item's just let them it only show's how newbish they are.

And Cp you got it wrong I have never once hacked a game of D2 the most I have ever done is used java to have 2 games open that way I could transfer.

I hate ebayers....i mean not that i wouldnt do it to get rich fast but i am very confrotable were i am at so i have rly no need to do it at all......i think every newb in diablo should personally start in ladder insted of nonladder.... cuz i think ladder is the closest to the older version of d2 when items where worth more then nething in nonladder everyone wants runes or runewards and thats all... i think ebay should not be aloud... but everyone is still gonna do and theres i nutin u can do about it.... ppl with no lives will find there ways to by stuff online to play online games haha...

but still, the items hav to be found on bnet to be sold on ebay. so really sum1s losing out and anothers taking over. not really affecting us but the noobs that buy the items. tha main point is that we r jealous that they get the items we've been hunting for so easily
