Maybe if they modified the rune drops to a little higher chance of finding higher runes, and made more higher runes available from forge, then maybe it'll be a little better, but i guess you have to be rich enough to afford hammerdin gear, and then everyone will drop out right before forge more. I think blizz might have made the cheap runewords better for the poor, but even so, the ones that can afford those runes with multiple jahs will dominate more than ever in duels.

the one with all the jahs isnt that great though. its good but not great. there are better/cheaper items to get

i do believe that some of the runwords are too expensive but also some are REALLY good, ive got a "ice" on my freezing arrow zon (OWNS pvm). and some spark newb builds (such as my zon) and some focuz on mercs. I think blizz didnt screw up at all, i believe they did what needed to be done. Some ppl were getting bored w/ the game again because it needed change, so blizz took action.

And some rich ppl will be able to make pimp mercs. my friend has a orber w/ a merc using infinity (lvl 12 convic), no more immunes and the sorc owns duels now.

and do remember its on ladder and all these runes are totaly "MAKABLE" i made a ist from scratch in 1 1/2 hours i did countess runs and saved ALL the runes and traded for a *** load of chip,its not that hard ppl. things are "presious" on ladder save all gems and runes, ALL!!!

I don't think it is a screw up at all. The runewords are good, both expensive ones and the cheaper ones. Like Spirit, that is one badass shield, especially when placed into a weapon + shield at a low level, great item. Also, Ice is a great runeword for PvM as someone has stated above.

If you play your cards right you could be rich with those rwords in about 2 weeks. When i was late to start the 2nd ladder season i quickly became richer than all my friends in 1 1/2 weeks. Im talkin with nigma coh hoto the works, now i just get what i want and when i want it. And also blizz half ****ed up, they made all this shit that would be amazing on a barb or pally but they left out the biggest part which kind of evens them out, Resists. Any barb or zealer that has dared take on my fireclawer has died miserably in 1 hit as always yet those people that arent so rich and use hoz etc stand a decent chance gainst him because they can survive a hit (Not often but possible). You have this amazing dmg but negative resists. Anyone is better off just balancing the 2. Also mercs are now amazing. Toss on a fortitude and the weapon of your choice and you got possiby a badass aura with a shitload of dmg. (My merc has 12k dmg at lvl 64)

All you have to do is mf alot (bots help there) and know how to trade.

That is the lamest excuse to quit I ever heard. I highly doubt you even got hacked, you were probaby scammed. Also, are you talking about this happening once, or even more then once?


And I think the runewords are fine how they are. Who cares if they're expensive? That should motivate you to work harder and get them. Quit being lazy and complaining about how hard they are to get, and go work a little and get them!
