Blizz screw-up?

crush dsnt double your damage its deadly strike that does it. crusing blow gies your weapon a chance 2 remove 1/10th of an enemies maximum life. so theoretically if u had 100%cb u could kill anymonster or boss in ten hits.

i think they r quite expensive but i can see y. if u see sum 1 with hoto or enigma etc. u no they have played for a wile and r exprenced at d2.

Not really, hoto, enigma, botd all that are EXTREMELY easy to get if you know how to trade......... the only new runeword i've bought so far was fortitude.. and it wasn't that bad of a price..

and i'm also quite certain that CB depends on the target's REMAINING life, not max. it would be kinda overpowered if it were based on max life.

if by "knowing how to trade" u mean throwing away certain morals, then...i don't even know what to say to that.

fortitude has far more uses than phoenix, yet it's worth about 1/4 the value. grief does more dmg than any one-handed ebotd, yet it costs so much less. then there's last wish...well u know exactly what i'm gonna say.

some runewords are overcosted, some are undercosted. basically, blizz screwed up all over the place.



it's not just the poorer players who are complaining about runeword prices right now. i've played for over 3 years and i consider myself to be quite wealthy, yet i'm still complaining. i'm the kinda person who wouldn't lay a finger on a Last Wish even if i had enough spare runes to make 10 of them.

Throwing away certain morals? No, most people just don't try to get the best deal that they can, a lot of people will just try to get what they can the fastest, I take alittle bit more time and offer the least I can at first, and work my way up. It saves me alot of runes.

And thought Grief supposivly does more than Breath of the Dying. I still prefer Ethreal Breath Of The Dying Bezerker axe with a Doom on the other hand.

i have a soultion for blizz and all the runewords. Make The Higher Runes a little bit more common. Like be able to get a Vex or zod off meph once in a while. I think the hellfoge stoppin at Gul rune is retarded as well...myopinon

well, for those of y ou who thought Blizz made a mistake by releasing the new words, you should think about what they've done to the merc, to have people build their mercs better now. I only read the 1st 2 pages so I have no idea what you guys are saying after that, but those runewords were there all along, just they didn't RELEASE them. If you had 100000000000000 runes of every kind you MIGHT've found out their combination, but it's very unlikely to find out without them telling you. They realized that people didn't use mercs enough therefore released the runewords before ladder 3, that's what I think

Not true, my friend and i have tried tons of different rune combinations on singal player, and havent found anything. also my friend has armor from 09 with JAH ITH BER in it, and it isnt a nigma.

I havent play'd for awhile, but personaly i like the idea of hard to get rune words, like sumone said earlyer it separates the noobs from the long time players. also if you are expirenced it gives u someting to work for. i dont think they made a mistake, and i dont think i am god, because im not. i think adding the new rune words will make d2 more fun because ppl no longer have every thing thats worth geting in the game, and it will take a long tiome for ppl to get it. (E-bayers excluded). and im thinking of playing again because of these runewords

I also hope that they never put any thing like runes of socatable stuff in WoW, cuz that would mess up the economy like it has for diablo II. If you want to play what i belive d2 is supposed to b play clasic.

I think Blizzard make the runewords more expensive because they don't want their players to get bored. For example: If you can collect all the items in about a month then the game would no longer be fun to players because they have everything in the game. If the runes were harder to get, then the players would have to play longer to find all the good items, so the players would be able to play the game a little longer.

If you are the type of person who wants the best stuff in about a month then you wouldn't like the new runewords.

No I don't think they are. You can't expect to start playing and a month later have everything. Have to work for it, if they were cheaper, they'd be worse.

YES! YES! Thank you for putting that one out there. If you create a game that would be easily beaten in a short amount of time, you lose consumers the fun is over.

the higher runes arent all that hard to find you can find ohm i know for sure in the pit in act 1 and its not that hard to go through it with a good hammerdinwouldnt know about other chars never really tried then but i think light sorc would do good also but i could be wrong
