Where is the best plaxe to get runes?????
I know there is lots of threads about this subject but they all say different things.....:wacky:

This is likely to get closed, there are like a million other threads of this sort... Try posting in them to get the info you want.

I know on 1.09 Hell Cows was a good place because they can drop at least up to Jah.

The best place to rune hunt is Hell and nightmare countess. She almost always drops a rune even if it's an el. Highest rune that has ever dropped on countess for me is lem. I have heard that mf doesn't affect what runes drop.

i found an um yesterday off of forge... make a char that can rush normal nm and hell really fast, then have a friend make new chars, rush them, take their forge, delete character, repeat. me and my buddy got rich off that a while ago, then some queer stole all my runes... but anyway!

Depends on what runes u want; if your looking for mid runes, like hel-ist, then go for hell countess. Looking for higher runes then go for cow level. There is a way better place, but I'll keep that for myself

Hell countess drops up to ist so shes good, and mephs council have dropped a sur and Lo for me before so try them, either that or be patient and keep getting char to hell and getting forges :p

im not sure if my sorc is good enuff for meph... shes lvl 81, max bliz and all synergies, around 1100 life with bo,(6 bo cta) would that cut it?

ytea best ive got off of forge is ist 2x and then i did like 100 countess runs in 1 day and found best was 4x puls and thats about where i go is countess then forge when i make new chars

id say use a javazon and go through cows with like lightning fury or so, make sure u have like no mf so u can find socketed items too. basically your killing a lot of lvl 85 creatures that carry no immunities to lightning for the most part, and each cow can drop any rune. since there are around 200 cows per lvl 1 of them might drop something useful.

Killing a monster with the highest % to drop zod doesnt have to be the best way to find runes. What u should be looking for is the highest/best amount of runes in the shortest amount of time. Lets say diablo has the highest chance to drop zod, 5% chance, while Mephisto has 1% chance. 1 diablo run takes 10 min while a mephisto run takes 1 min. Meaning u can do 10 mephi runs while u can only 1 diablo run in the same amount of time. You now have 10% chance of zod from mephi and 5% from diablo . This is just an example though, diablo cant drop zod

Ya I have gotten plenty of lems and a few Guls, for my runs I use my Paly and do Baal Meph Trav andy countess and so far th ehighest I have gotten was from countess(Gul) the highest I have gotten from Baal was Mal, I think that it is obvious on how high the runes can get goes by the level of the Char, I sometimes run for forge in hell but I get ripped off more then I get the runes then if you do get runes more often then not they are like pul um which is ok but not that good, the highest I have gotten off of a Run for forge is Gul. so I just stick to the trav baal meph countess andy runs.

yea well ive dont alot of council through rushes and i have not found 1 rune on him at all so it doesnt look like chances of finding ne thing is that high but i have found a ton of facets of of them.

Countess is always good. Hell, HellForge is going to get you a good rune. Ive gotten up to gul.
Ive also found a pul rune off of clearing pindleskins temple trying to level my mercenary.
