Game crash - help!

Hello,
In Diablo 2 when I look at a runeword (when I hover my cursor over the item) that gives you an aura when equipped (e.g. Edge,Bramble) my game crashes and this error message comes up:

UNHANDLED EXCEPTION:

ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005)

I have a DSL connection and I play in the Europe Realm. If anyone knows how to fix it please reply. :confused:

Is this closed Bnet? If it is I suggest reinstalling the game. If it's closed the item might just be hacked too much.

well, i get that error sometimes and all i have to do is restart the game. i get this error about once every 2 months. Doe sit happen EVERYTIME you do it?? if so, there is a slight possibility that it may be hacked, or duped.

me? i use c3po, and yes it could be mh. Sometimes i get errors with mh, but it just comes up and says "We got a big error here ". but i fixed it all up and mines better now. As for the rw guy, id trd that asap. so it dont poof or anything

yes, ts most likely duped or hacked. if you cant put your mouse over it all the time (as in cant pick it up, cant equip it, etc then i suggest you wait 4 it 2 go poof. if you can SOMETIMES move it around, then give it to a trusted friend or a mod in d2s and get them 2 try trade it 4 u

no its just that the item is to hacked it does it to me all the time it just has to much attributes.
