I'd say mage fist for fcr and mana regen and marrows/treks for the boosts to stats or if your mf travs

first of all ravens blow stick with another soj and 2nd switch shud be spirit and armor shud be archon nigma and gloves shud be magefists and boots eth treks

i dont use raven frosts and i do fine just use anni charm and ull be able to use the nigma

eth treks and mages do fine, if your concerned about freezing u should either cham a zak or shako so u get cbf and use 2 sojs and resist scs/gcs in inventory

unless ur merc uses defiance, or u use exile for defiance, or u're a barb with shout, he won't benefit much from a high def armor since the def is multiplied by enhanced def from skills/auras. so for ur hammerdin, stone is probably not the best merc armor choice unless he's defiance.
shaftstop + 20% gaze = full DR, so i think that should work fairly well. socket with ums for more resists if necessary.
silver_ice1212, unfortunately he said he's not on ladder, so no obedience. eth doom cryptic axe is a pretty popular choice. if u want to go on a lower budget, eth bonehews are much cheaper. socket with amn+hel. eth reaper's toll, eth tomb reaver, eth uped spire of honor, eth uped hone sundan are all viable choices.
