Odd R/D's

I've been getting about 5 minute Realm Down's quite frequently Baaling and dueling for no reason. Anyone else been getting this lately? Really starting to **** me off.

u get realm downs from baaling only if u dont wait a few secs before joining the next baal game, or if ur making the baal games try counting to 2 or 3.

I already do that when I'm hosting them or I'll get 'Failed to join game'

Ok, the most recent R/D I got when I jsut got onto D2, I made a game with Paladin, killed Pindle, Eldritch, and Council [mfing/Lvling merc]

I left the game, got a R/D... the run took about 2 minutes... but it's been doing that a lot lately...martass2

Hey Messiah, r u killing baal after his minions or just killing minions and creating new game. If so after so many runs you'll start getting fail to join games after every other run and then eventually get the all famous r'd for a few minutes dueling (beats me).

check your ip port (or whatever they call it)

Hey Ducky, r we talking about ipconfig/release and such to get a new IP, because this does not typically work for peeps using Cable (crappy) modems. Think, because of r'ds I'm gonna setup a dialup to bot on and a modem to game on and setup 3 different comps for all of it.

Occationally I kill Baal when in public games [not host]

Ipconfig doesn't work, I have cable and am not about to call ISP to change IP...

Close d2 or bot programs. Unplug cable modem by unpluf i mean power suply. Wait for 30 minutes. 31 to be on the safe side. Plug modem back in and by by rd and weleome new Ip

Don't know if anyone got back to you on this privately, but it's something BNET has implemented to keep botters from making and leaving games to fast. They say to b on the safe side, attempt to be in a game longer than 3 minutes; however, I find if I hit eldritch and andy right after meph I don't get a r/d as often.

And when u just exited the game and go to the screen where u exit/create games/join etc...Try not to move your cursor too fast or click Enter Chat too soon...
And try not to exit RIGHT AFTER a major boss dies...thats imo..

im getting frequent r/d's as well, just got one half hour ago and hasn't gone yet. i was leaving a baal game when it happened .
