anyone know how to change privliges on Xp?

im trying to install diablo 2 on my comp and it says some bullshit like bad data file and i think its cause i got a limited account so this is ****ing annoying, anyway im wondering if anyone knows how to change privliges on xp or if theres a program that can do it.

perhaps you have to access the administrator account to be able to do that, and then check some option in there to allow for more access in the other limited accounts; other than that not sure really.

if you dont have super user privilages and dont have the password to the account that does then your just *****ed. But the error bad data file is not due to that. Its saying that a file its trying to write to or copy to your HD is bad.

yeah i tried installing limewire to test if i was allowed to install programs and it didnt work so i know my disk is ****ed. stupid windows xp
