I dont think ive ever had AOL or used it or even seen anyone use it for that matter so i couldnt say that i use it. I connect to the internet using timewarner roadrunner cable and it works good enough for my needs but as i noticed jedi mentioned the free disks you get in the mail lol i do get them and i always throw them as frisbies for about 10 seconds and then get board of that and move on but thats about as much as AOL is good for as far as i know...

Yea I used to go in my local CVS store. I would steal about... 30 cds. And then I'd just smash them in their parking lot. I didn't get in trouble because AOL sucks so bad that they don't care so they just let me go. I had Aol for... about a month and found it horriffic. I have Verizon DSL now and find it 9582309x better than 56k AOL. Only problem with DSL I have is the lag on Xbox Live sometimes. Especially when I am downloading a movie at the same time.

I use Cox....its a cable modem. I lag but it is because my computer sucks so bad

i used to use aol.....once i got cable i ran over my aol cd with my car a couple of times. i did the same thing with the others they send in, after i sent back one of their cds crushed they stopped sending them

I have aol service from my mom but ide rather have dsl or something >_>....Aol is allright for chatin and offers alot of features but its slow and overpriced....My computer is f-ed up right so it dosent matter.

AOHell is the top cause of lag on games, but people don't want to admit it. I bet there are some who voted no, even when they have it.

I'm happy because I'm on DSL, but my cousin uses AOL and they have so many security programs its annoying!

I don't have a firewall, antivirus, or anything like that on this computer and I've been running it for months with no viruses. Viruses aren't caused by being un-secure, they are caused by stupidity. So in my opinion anybody that uses AOHell because its secure or whatever is an idiot. Its slower than anything else anyway.

Okay, i guess I'll join in this AOL conversation, My grandma uses aol, then again i think all grandma's do lmao, i used roadrunner long time ago then my parents split up n my mom couldnt afford it or sumthing so we got the free aol shit, having our s/n change every 6 months or w/e, then we switched back to roadrunner right before my mom n little sister moved down to tampa where i am visiting at the moment lol, back home at my dads we use the broadband aol and let me tell u.... it *****ing blows!!!!!!!!!!! i hae aol with a deep passion and when i get home since my birthday is the day b4 my flight i will be getting some roadrunner in the basement for a lot cheaper than aol and a lot better quality of an ISP.. I H.A.T.E. A.O.L.!!!!!!!! blah!!!

thats a great idea, you mind if i copy you? Can't you just imagine the guys' face when he saw the CD. thats a great thing to do for april fools. My dad once got 3 of those CD's in one day. He put them through the paper shredder, it broke.

I agree, I hate AOL with a passion.

When I got sent a free AOL disk, I put it in the microwave (Stupid, yes, but fun.)

It started popping and I guess whatever's inside a cd started leaking becuase it really stunk up my house. =O

Was fun though, I'd do it again.

AOL is crap. the only reason anybody uses it is because they are idiots or they are pulled in by the free hours or low first month rates
like most people, i hate it with a passion. i cant understand how they can make so much money when they suck so bad and everyone throws away their cds. they are so insidious. they show up everywhere. cds at wal-mart, signup commercials on tv, installing programs on new computers that are impossible to uninstall
