Sick of BAD DEAD BODIES get rid of them now

undefinedundefined :mad: sick of all those bad dead bodies follow the following directions:

1. Open Windows Explorer (or My Computer)
2. Locate your Diablo II folder
3. Open the Diablo II folder
- two folder should appear: save & support
4. Open the save folder
- files should appear with names and numbers on them
5. Find the files with your BAD DEAD BODY charecter
6. Find the file that has your charecter's name .d2
7. Rename that file your charecter's name
8. Find the files that has your charecter's name and a whole bunch of numbers
9. Find that file with the highest number (be sure to have the highest number if not this will not work)
10. Rename that file your charecter's name .tst
11. Your problem is fixed go try it out!!!!!!!

lol.. no item packs.. make ur own or ull NEVER succeed in the duelin world and BAD DEAD BODIES is a error from too many or wrongly hacked items i believe.. just make a new char and make ur OWN items

constricting rings were bad dead bodies... and i had one on closed, never got high enough to use it though
man that was the most kick *** item out there. worth 1 hex =D

know what also f's you up? open your non existant corpse and put items into it and save. thems bad dead bodies.

In 1.10 with zonfires new editor i have yet to get one bad dead bodie message. I edit 20 items put 32 attributes on all of them make all quests complete max health max mana max stas all skills at 99 and i save. It works. No problems and if you get bad dead bodies you must be doing somehting seriously wrong.

Why do you guys duel on (hacked.net) anyways its not very fun i only use the editors to make chars and see if what setup would be best for them Skills,Stats, and legit item wise.

If you got bad dead bodies on open(only open)
just open hero editor and the open the right .d2s file and hero editor will solve the prob for you....

It gets rid of the problem item, and also tends to wipe a few others out with it! :mad:

Besides, don't give people hints on fixing dead bodies msgs. It takes all the fun out of pranking people! Haven't you ever brought an eight socketed sword into a game, slapped a bunch of jewels on it and handed it to some jerk that kept pestering you for frees? You just know they're gonna save with it It teaches them a good lesson about courtesy!

I dont get it?Since u can make them crash,why u wont crash if your cursor is over your 'hacked' item.....

The game allows eight socketed swords to have jewels added, provided the only mod on the sword is the increased sockets. You have to put the jewels in the sword during the game... so carry some crummy hacked jewels in, as well.
Slap the jewels on the sword, give it to the idiot that keeps popping up your trade window... he'll probably be happy with the stats and leave when asked nice. That's when he'll find out the game won't load a filled eight socketed sword

Heh... if you have the patients to tinker with it, there are a few other exceptable attributes you can give the sword and still get the game to let you add eight jewels. You can use the sword for your own gaming if you like - but remember to drop the thing somewhere before you save and exit. Pick somewhere reclusive, so a person you don't have problems with doesn't grab the sword.
Of course, I don't make use of that myself... if the host leaves without warning, you may get stuck with the dang thing - which is how I know Zonfire has a nasty habbit of killing other items when it clears out the bad item in inventory :mad:

Perhaps the game may let you save the item in Iron Golem form... I haven't bothered to try yet. And that wouldn't be all that great anyways.

oh......but i still dont quite understand.....why wont your game 'wont load' when ure carry that item?

Could you please explain better? I found the charcacter.ds2 file.
Do I just rename that to charcacter without an extension?
Then I looked for character.<bunch of numbers>
THere wasn't one. There was character.ma[1..3]

Should I rename character.ma3 to character.txt?

How does this all work, anyway?
