I do not agree with that at all. I just sold my account that I worked my "butt" off for for 100k. You just aren't in the same situation as I am. I mean if I knew it was going to be reset then I would have sold my accounts for $30 - $40 on Ebay and bought a new XBL Headset since mine broke. I mean as of now I have (hold on, opening a new tab of FFox.)

they should lower the point amount on the personalizing shit, cause it sucked for me having to wait so long to get it. u should be able to around like 200 posts, but i had to at like 500+ it blew. Also the point limit wouldnt really be much fun

I didn't have to wait long to be able to personalize my name. One month and 400 posts later or so and I was done. It all depends on whether you create topics alot or just post alot.

I dont see what the big deal is. No one makes a stink when they reset the reputation system, which personally I would rather have a good rep than a huge bank of points, but now they want to take everyons OH SO PRECIOUS points and half the forum members think the worlds coming to an end. Okay so they reset the points and everyone who for some ungodly reason had been hording boat loads of points leave and even some who havent but have been here awhile. Without members Spit closes the forum and starts pocketing all the money he use to spend on the forum and D2S. Now your out of a forum that had downloads, guides, trading and much much more and all over some damn points that can not even translate into anything in the real world?

Everyone who's so dead set on leaving when and if points get reset just remember that without members the forums and D2S all together go *poof* and now your left with nothing. So its haveing nothing or having to re-earn all those oh so precious points. Its all up to the masses.

I like them, they are a good idea from spit or whoever created them, and if some ppl have a lot, so be it, its their choice to horde them and wait for them to multiply in the bank. The bank is good too, cause it simulates real life, as points may also do, which may help ppl with money managing skills. Im not saying it will definately, it might thought, and isnt that good

The point, no pun intended, is not whether or not these forums and its coinciding(SP?) features help people learn real life skills, because quite frankly nothing can prepare you for what life will be like outside of your parents house. The point is this: All these people are up in arms over POINTS, not dollars, yen, deutch marks, but POINTS. These little numbers on a screen which mean you've done THIS much spamming and gulled THIS many people into "paying" you for items which could easily be obtained by their own devices. Beyond that drop the "all that time mf'ing" bullcrap because I know that almost everyone with any amount of "god" items runs a bot for as long as they can everyday of the week. So its not like you do like I do and actually take that little input device called a mouse in your hand and do the work. No! You just click a few icons type some commands and for the next X hours your computer is playing the game for you. So heaven forbid should you have to run your bot more! I mean seriously thats some HARD work there. Screw you! Try doing 100 runs in a night manually every night for a whole week while working a 40hr a week job, cooking, cleaning, taking time for family, paying bills, and having some semblance of a social life THEN come to me and talk about hard work. Until then just accept the fact that you MIGHT have to run your bot for an hour more a night/day and just maybe you'll have to actually trade one of you 10 enigmas 20 hoto's and 30 CtA's for something else that you want. (It may be over exaggerated but you get the point. Dont go crying "But I dont have that many!". Bah! STFU and realize its an exaggeration.)

The fact that this is even an ISSUE is beyond me. Dyna should have just contacted spit explained his thoughts on why the points should be reset and been done with it. If spit reset the points all well if doesnt then all well because really this forum and those points and D2 have NO connection to how your "real" life plays out.
