Posts or points people will continue to spam for either as long as there is a prize waiting for them at the end of the tunnel.
I'd rather just see it reset and have everyone start off on equal ground again but if thats unacceptable to those with an immense amount of points then abolishing the system all together would be fine, as long as I can keep my moddified user name and title. Why? Because I like pretty things and my name happens to be pretty the way it is.

I don't know about me. I have a hell of a lot of points and I don't even play d2 anymore. I go on once in awhile to help my buds out but that's about it. When I quit , I sold an Ohm to Skidude for 200k, so I could just leech interest and get tons of points. If those were to poof on me, I'd probably end up leaving d2s, just because I'd be upset about it all.

its was equal at the beggining when the forums started!!! why reset it? thats like buying an online game 2 months after and not having all the free stuff that dropped when it came out then you asked for everyone to reset their levels and the whole game! its stupid.

i got an idea, maybe after like one month of being here and if you have 100+ posts your allowed to change the colour of your name ect. This would cause little spam, 3 posts a day is easy.

one last question for a mod/admin before i go away for the night, if the point system was abolished, would the be a way to keep the customization fo accounts? The point system is what drew me here as it was a bit unique and the only other place ive seen something like it is d2jsp forums. But if its completely necessary, then i guess all we can do it get rid of them.

Ok guys I renamed each group as groups in the French Revoloution
Resetter = Liberals
Keep the same = Royalists (Loyalists also)
Abolish = Radicals (Hell yeah man abolish all the way)
Other = Moderates
We all knew who won the french revolution, The Radicals, Liberals, and Moderates did. This is just like the Revolution, those with money and power made up the bulk of the convention (Royalists), Then there was the peasants who outnumbered the Royalists because 3% of the People were Royalists the other 97% were the Liberals Radicals and Moderates, who ironically had the least say in the convention. In order to win the Moderates Radicals and Liberals allied to form a party together (I plan on this happening giving the others a chance) to take out the Royalists. The peasants and Merchants will revolt and we will control the D2S "governent". Ironic how things in history become like that of today. When the newcomers would come and vote they would pick reset or abolish but they have no say in this. Only voters are those who seriously care about their points.

Enough is enough, this is bullshit. Im just fed up with this countless arguing and retarded flames. i can't say it better myself. we live in a democratic society, and the votes are against resetting or abolishing the point system. not that it would matter to me or anything...since i don't even have 7k points.

at least guant has tried to show that he is not as greedy as some others, as he has been helping out those in need since this thread has opened...maybe if some of the people w/ godly points would donate to those w/ no points and give away items to those who need it then this wouldnt be a problem.
