Either learn a web language or get Front Page and learn to use that. Its only like 99$ for the new one and you can probably get the new one for even cheaper if you get the student version.

Oh Dreamweaver is also an option but thats a bit more complicated from what I hear.

lol, yeah he hasnt told us the code for font yet. only size and color:confused: if anybody could tell me what the html code for font type is i'll gladly change the current font that's on there:confused: on there. and i have access to frontpage, we cant use it on our page though. it has to be purely built by html code, except for like pictures n backgrounds n stuff, which we're doing through fireworks. anyways, yesterday (wednesday) i added a pictures page just to pass time and stuff during class...but, since espi still hasnt updated our sites yet, you wont be able to see it until sunday, or monday at the latest ( Smile ) umm, thats all i can think of right now on updates. and yeah, like i said, he's updating our sites either sunday or monday, so you can see the new stuff i've added :devilish: .

ok um... i dont know how long you have been in this "class" and its probably for school i would image (HS) but if he hasnt showed you how to view the source of a webpage then... what the hell?!

anyways my advice is to find webpages that look cool to you (not the picutres) the way its setup, formwise, frame wise, etc. view the source, copy&past into your own html file and edit at your own will. that is the best way to learn a new language, especially one that is simple like html.

repetition is the key. the more html you type the more yourt mind will remember. eventually you can look at a webpage layout and slap one out in under 2 minutes Wink just keep workign at it.

well i tried to put some html here for your pelasure but the code box doesnt wupport it i think. but anyways if you need any help outside of your class im always open to answer questions here on PM's or just send me a mail. (i can answer most web scripting q's)

good luck (your in humboldt county? cool)

The only reason I ever recommend FrontPage over Dreamweaver is price.

~$400 for Dreamweaver
~$200 for FrontPage

A little easier to swallow $200 if you end up not liking web design.

BTW: You need to change your link color.

this is a semester long class, so i've been in it for about 3 or 4 weeks, and ya its high school (im a freshman:p ). he showed us the view source thing like the second day, but the thing is, since its school n all Rolleyes if i just copy n paste code from another site, he will look at it and say, where did you learn that? and well, you get the point. also, he gives us like weekly tests on html. so copy+pasting wont help me on tests with a pencil and paper, unfortunately.

when i was in high school they never had classes liek that lol my school was basically broke i even remember the elctric going out because they didnt pay their bills hhahahaha but anyways

it will definitely help you to learn html if you look through the code a bit. i didnt mean copy+paste for a test but on your free time y'know.

Here's a pretty cool place to go to learn some basics on HTML. This will also include a way to change your font face. You can find millions of sites to find some help on HTML.

By the way, not a bad beginner page there. At least it's about skating, lol.

Alright, Espi updated our sites again on Sunday. I put some new things on there. To name a few, the text that revolves around the mouse, the clock in the title bar...There's a few others.
I found this site, that gave me the code to some cool stuff. It's pretty sweet. anyways, that's all for now.
~Enjoy~
