Free Email accounts ban

Because of the people that get banned and sign up time and time again, I will be banning ALL free e-mail services from being used to sign up.

EDIT: Current members will not be affected.
The Email ban will take effect tomorrow at 11:00am, PST

I have no email address that is NOT free. So essentially I am banned for not wanting to use my ISP email? I will not use my work email because then my work email would get flooded with new post emails. I have a hotmail,yahoo and gmail account. Those are the only ones I have. Can I use ANY of those?

ya because i dont have a computer of my own, i use the local library and cant add msn or aol to that. its not too fair man. i see your point but this isnt cool

Yahoo. Hotmail, and GMail will be included in the ban. You don't have to worry about using your ISP email address, you can keep it private, and we don't sell them so I don't know what the big deal is.

So I have to change my Gmail email to my Bellsouth one? I use my bellsouth one for important things like work and shit, I only have like a little bit of room on there. Im going to leave d2s for awhile prob because its getting too out of hand but i dont want to come back to find i have been banned. So can those who have been here for awhile to keep their emails, while newcomers have to use their isp?

I wont have the email I use in correlation to my online banking and bill paying stored on server for a forum. That NOT happening. So its bye bye till everyone here gets their heads on straight.

Set up a secondary, how difficult is that? If you cant do it, have your parents do it for you, most ISPs offer up to 5 email addresses per account. Everyone stop complaining, I'm doing this to keep childish idiots out. If you want to leave then that's fine. Quality over quantity.

Cant it be made that people with already existing accounts dont have to change their email only the new ones that sign up?? Even though you say Quantity over Quality your Quality must be very good to overcome the 4/5 of the site that is gonna get banned for having a free email account. Unfortionatly In my personal opinion this site is taking a turn for the worse... why isnt it possible to leave things as they are.. ban new accounts that didnt post on the first day they signed up, autoban spammers that make threads with the same name, cap points ect ect but all these big changes with so many opposers are gonna ultimatly end up in the site dying.

i wonder if thats why i got banned from blizzhackers for trying to sign up. after i sign up it says sorry. but this account has been banned. iv never been able to sign up. i use yahoo. i cant afford pay emails. there lame +i have no credit card

It's 4 thoses ( like ilikelilkids..etc ) that get banned and come back again and again with various free mails.........



Btw, I got rly scared when I started reading the thread cuz I love d2s and I only got hotmail.........
Mom wouldn't pay a paying mail so I'd get banned of d2s
But I aggree /w Chesh ....... It's a good point cuz of ppl getting banned and coming again

The only thing is that it also have a 2nd side of the medal....
Ppl who uses hotmail etc... ( like me ) that will want to join d2s won't be able to........
Cause of it, d2s will become like a paying website........:confused:

instead of calling pretty much everyone stupid... ill join assume that no one read the fine print that says "existing members will not be affected" this means if you were a member before this ban took place. your fine.
