Ray

Hey I was wondering if anyone else has seen this movie; I just watched it last night and I though it was rather good. Jamie Foxx did an awesome job at playing Ray Charles. Normally I wouldn't like these kind of serious movies, but I enjoyed all 2 hours and 33 minutes that the film ran. I can only imagine how many awards he will recieve for that movie. Post your thoughts on this film.

That movie is EXTREMLY good. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and learned a ton about Ray Charles while I was at it too.

I have alot more appreciation for him now than I did before.

If you enjoyed the story about Ray Charles... You should seriously watch the movie made about the Temptations. It started showing on VH1 and I was flipping through the channels before bed... And I sat up until about 2 in the morning watching that on a school day. It just captures their legend extremely well.

That it does. VH1 Has been showing it at least once a week now for a month or two. I have seen it about 8 times and counting.

Usually I'm not the kind of person that get into these deep serious movies, but considering all your responses on it. I might enjoy it.

These movies worry me, people see them and will come away thinking "Ray" was a great man. He made good music. Period. He was a piece of ef-ing garbage. Remember, this was in no way a documentary.
