Best Final Fantasy Game Ever

What do yall think is the best Final Fantasy Game ever. I think it is FFVIII Squall just rocks. And do you think any should be made into movies. Based on the game not like the last Final Fantasy movie.

On topic, my favorite FF was Tactics, its one of my all time favorite games. I also loved Final Fantasy X, im surprised noone has said that one, being the first FF to have voice overs, and the cinematics were great. And Zm_alpha, they are making a movie based 6 years(i think) after FFVII, its called Final Fantasy: Advent Children, im surprised you didnt know that, and its most likely comnig out this summer.

No thats wrong! Any real gamer would realize that since Final Fantasy started they have recycled the SAME base story line, what 12-13 times now. The ONLY thing that changes from "version", I refuse to call them seperate games cause they are all so similar, to "version" is the magic system. So they recycle the story line, make the magic system more complicated, slap a new number after the words "Final Fantasy" and pawn it off as a WHOLE NEW game...what a bunch of cheap crap...but genious marketing.

Then again just about any RPG series is like that. I just happen to dislike Final Fantasy the most out of all of them.

P.S. Come to think of it Breath of Fire is not like that.

I'm sorry Sinner, but i have to disagree with you there, The stories may seem the same to you and im guessing you havnt played more than three of them, but they are all different and all very indepth and amazing..But then again, thats just my opinion....Anyone else agree with me?

Indepth and amazing? I just can not see it. Beyond over complicating the magic system to the point of ludicrisy(SP?) the game story line goes something along the lines of: main character plus best female friend plus "suprise" bad guy goes good plus random assortment of "mini-bosses" and side games all leading up to the final battle between three people and one incredible mage/sorc/wizard/necro who usually ends up having gray/silverish hair and wears black...sometimes with a cape, which of course is black. Please tell me if I have missed some inane "high point" because truthfully out of the five or so I have played thats about all I can remember. But hay if thats indepth for you great. I have NO problem with that at all.


Final Fantay 7's low point was when the characters are all hanging off the cliff and the main character, Cloud I think, is holding on to a ledge with ONE hand with all the other characters daisy chained below him. It was at that point I took the cd and snapped it in half. Just one random moment I can remember.

I found Secret of Mana and Secret of Evermore along with Crono Trigger far more entertaining than any of the Final Fantasy games.

I personally do not like the Final Fantasy series mainly because they're just stretching it out too much, as if Squaresoft can't come up with any other series... And really, if they didn't have the same basic storyline, why would they even be called Final Fantasy? If they were going to be different, they wouldn't share the same name.

The only game that I ever played and really enjoyed was Final Fantasy Tactics... Man, that game kicked so much ***.

Id halfta say ff tactics or ff6 are the best because of there uniqueness and superior gaming funness .O and I do agree with sinner in that FF games are just recycled for the most part but there all good to me just a bit old at times . But as sinner stated there are many better RPGs out there like lunar or star ocean 2ond story n ark the lad or the supper famous secret of mana. but all in all FF games are great money makers in the gaming industry and even though there getting old and recycled there still fun to play a few times through ive played all the FF games and the only one ive ever hated is 9. Which is a big bunch of shit in a bowl kinda crap that a retard would make but aside that FF is just one of a few RPGs that are good solid RPGs there are better ones there are worse ones you just halfto find your stlye of RPGs.

final fantasy games carry the best story lines with there rpg's also the rpg styles are always uniqe and fun.Your attention span must be lacking.Do you have ADD?I like FF10 good story line and i some of the charecters.
