HELP my D2 Does not want to work

My Diablo II doesnt want to work for me each time i try to just get on the main page where it says " single player,mutiplayer,options etc." when ever i get to there a error appears saying " Assertion Faliure D2Bnclient1BnetGW.cpp, Line 94#" i uninstalled and reinstalled it about 3 times now and still getting same results i even got my cousins disc and installed it with his discs my cd key same results and i have no clue what to do can anyone help me?

How strange... This is a Blizzard problem. I propose talking to them for the support as we don't have the Diablo2 source code. God speed.

Users have fixed this by resetting the Battle.net server list:
Click on Start, and then Run.
Type "regedit" and click Ok.
Click on the + icon beside the "HKey_Local_Machine" branch.
Click on the + icon beside the "Software" branch.
Select the "Battle.net" branch and press the delete key.
Click on the + icon beside the "HKey_Current_User" branch.
Click on the + icon beside the "Software" branch.
Select the "Battle.net" branch and press the delete key.</pre>

Lol... that seems to be the solution nowadays. However, I've never seen an error like yours... Glad it got fixed.
