There seems to be a vivid rumor going on that Blizzard is going to create a new Diablo: Diablo 3: Evil's Second Hell. The name might be a rumor, but I can't make heads or tails of all this talk. It seems to be originating from a job request statement filed right after the new year. If I'm wrong and it's been around for a while, feel free to flame. Don't come to me when you get a ban, though. I just don't quite get how this small statement can spark so much enthusiasm. After all, it's just an advertisement for Blizzard. However, this might definitely have some reality to it. Could they possibly make a Diablo III? The franchise has been dead for so long, it would be a miracle to bring it back to life. Beside's, the team that made Diablo, Hellfire, Diablo II, and Lord of Destruction has moved over to Flag Ship Studios. With all this, the chances of a new game might not happen. But then again, if the staff moved to Flag Ship, then why wouldn't they shop for a new Lead Designer. And the fact that they only listed Diablo games... well... I don't know. But then again, Diablo was developed by Blizzard North, so I don't know if Blizzard is doing anything on that part, I can't quite grasp how that works. Please, share your thoughts. :laugh:

This has been going around for a while. They are either looking to make a D3 or they want to make a "new" game semi-based around Diablo. Something tells me though its the later most likely.

I like diablo II as it is now, but I'm starting to get bored from playing too much, all I do now is duel. I'd like to think there would be a new diablo, but I don't think its going to happen. I just started RO and I'll play around with that for a while.

I dont play DIablo II anymore but if they made a new D3 i would buy and play it. Aslong as it not like 10$ a month and cost to make ever char like WOW

i heard a rumor before diablo 2 that they were making d3 lord of darkness it was about a unkown brother of the 3, one that no1 knew about, not even tyreal or cain. and i guess hes all like omg do i have to do EVERYTHING MY SELF YOU WERE DEFEATED BY A MERE MORTAL, U DISCRACE ALL OF HELL! and he ressurected them and then u have to fight them all and theres gonna be like 6 acts ... (what i heard like 6 yrs ago)
well if there is a d3 i wonder wats gonna happend cuz of the world stone and maybe thats kinda ture snyper cuz trael said he did kno wat smashin it would do 2 the world but it would kick *** haven 2 kill diablo and al those guys again

Yeah and they were suppose to add a new quest to act 3 and a new secret level also but did any of that come about? NO! They just made an annoying act 5 instead.

Weren't they supposed to have made 2 new character classes in a patch too? And Diablo Lord of Darkness can't be true, because people wouldn't know which you were referring to when you said LOD

without a doubt their is another game in progress whether it be new or part of another game series... b/c if you go to the blizzard website they are hiring alot of people needed for making a game not upkeeping a game but making a game... thats my theory...

the only reason people are starting all this talk is because they are bored with the old d2, nothing new has happened...and yes i know that everyone is waiting for the reavealing of the new d3 but the plain truth is its not going to happen before i die... so i am not overly concered thx and leave you opinions

I read this on another site that says they have words from blizzard.
They said that possibly d3 maybe based on Ormus, cuz after you defeated mephisto, go to Natalya and gossip. She says that she has watched Ormus for many years and she didn't know if Ormus is just normal or does he contain an evil spirit.
Maybe Ormus is like a the fourth secret brother of prime evils. WHO KNOWs??????

Right now blizzard does not really give a Hoot about diablo they are more concerned about World of warcraft and how much money they are making off of it u got 6 million peopel paying 13$+ a month to play thats almost around 5-8 million a month from game minus server expenses and problems
they are looking for more people so they can improve it and add more settings to it thats why they need new people
if u hant noticed the dupes and crap has gotten real bad on d2 and they arnt doin much about it thats why i went to WOW becuase they update it everytime something is wrong and they are more dedicated to it diablo is just a low graphics game taht peopel still play that cant play WOw i gurantee if you could play WOW you would
pretty much they arnt making a 3 they just need more peopel to improve World of warcraft and Starcraft Ghost for when it comes out
