I didn't read all of those huge posts, but I agree that hairmetal isn't the best thing out there. I like rock of course, and not hiphop, but hairmetal just sounds "cheaper" than the other bands out there. And Slipnot=skater music. I have no idea why they like that type of stuff other than they probably think slipnot's badass for wearing all of those costumes. I don't know if guns n' roses is hairmetal or not, I don't think they are, even if they are in the 80's. Their music sounds so much greater than bands like Motley crue, poison, and warrant. Sorry for getting offtopic, I don't know how this whole thread got diverted to slipnot and hairmetal.

I skate and I don't listen to Slipknot. In fact, I don't think anyone I skate with does.

I don't know how many of you keep up with the rap game, but within a few months both Nas and Fat Joe, and Jada Kiss will ALL wipe 50 Cent off the 'hiphop credibility' map. You mess around with the best(Nas, particularly) and diss a legend and you don't last too godawful long. Not in the streets, anyway

Rapping isn't music, rap is just some monkey screaming random words into the microphone to a beat of a very loud and annoying drum (or thats how it sounds to me). Yes, there are some rappers that make sense, and yes I listen to rap, but it isn't ''real music''.

I love biased people, ignorant people, racist people, and closed-minded people.

But the people I really love are those who manage to combine all four into one mega post.

Congratulations. I challenge you to listen to Illmatic by Nas, Personal Journals by Sage Francis, or some groups like the Roots. I'm glad everyone is so biased and racist,... really.

Yeah, the eminem videos that are supposed to be funny are alright, but the things I get out of the fifty cent videos are nice cars, and asses everywhere. And yes I did have the sound on the first time I saw Candy Shop, and the only words I heard were something about being able to lick my lolipop and the word nympho repeated over again. After I watched it once, I just muted it, changed the channel or just turned the tv off whenever it came on.

Amazingly enough almost every one seems to dislike rap in here, but when ever you bring up a real rapper they'll actually say they wrote amazing lyrics or they had a really good beat, like Run DMC most people change thier tune at that point and if that doesent work you bring up Tupac, I don't think any one can deny that some of his lyrics were quite well thought out and delivered.

The picture is a parody of a 50 Cent track. I have a URL to a Flash animation. Imbedding Flash is basically making a flash movie on a forum, but making the height and width 0, so essentially, you only get the sound. I was trying to imbed the clip of that mp3. Any day B!tch
