Anyone know how to make a good lightnin sorc?

Im making one right now and its lvl 80 with lightnin dmg of 9.2k and i know thats not high for lightning so i wanted to know what i can do when i start over to make a gooooood lightning sorc and what i should use thanx

umm u can convert to ladder and get a perf fcr spirit shield first, then u can get a perf 5/-5 griffons eye for dueling umed shako works nicely for pvm, then get a perf 5/-5 light eshutas, then get a +3 to lightning ormus robes with a 5/-5 light jewel in it. as for an ammy u can get maras or afletch when ladder ends. boots would be soul spurs 2 fcr all resist rings if u wanna attempt the last fcr bp or 2 sojs, and mages as gloves, and arach as the belt. oh and cta+spirit shield on switch.
str: enough for spirit shield- your anni
dex: none
vit: all rest
energy:none

inventory: use 10 lightning charms and fill the rest with +5 all resist scs and an anni.
max skills in this order:
lightning, light mastery, chain light, then charged bolt. put 1 pt into energy shield, thunderstorm, and warmth. and prereq's.

your lightning dmg should be over 26k before charms, usually more after.

i heard somewhere that after u max all those thing u said silver start maxing thunder storm to make the ppl ur fighting get a little stunned.

alfzz has it right. thunderstorm does stun and i dont actually find it cheap at all because i can dodge it pretty easily. 1 pt will do, put it before maxing the last synergy (charged bolt)

Just in case this input is needed- if that stuff's too expensive heres what im using.
damage is around 17k, which is decent for crappy gear, right?

and i can survive okay in hell with my merc meat shield.
