Now, Silent_Warrior is not the brightest bulb in the box or the most popular. But did he deserve that ban for flaming in a Flame Wars thread? And someone tell me why Pant is a Super Mod and hasn't even been here that long. Now Chesh I know you and I have had some nice arguments but I think we are fairly on good terms yes? But I look at things like this and wonder what the hell you're thinking when you choose your mods. Are you just going for people with high post counts that seem popular?
And on that note...I wonder why the mods seemed to crack down on Silent so harsly when there is so much more spam and crap floating around these forumsthat you should be treating in the same way as you do every other spam post. You shouldn't just ban somebody cause they broke one rule, that warrants a warning first, and you don't like them. My personal feeling is that some of these new mods need to be dropped or replaced. And don't feed me this "They're doing a better job then you ever could!" BS cause I DID do that job and some people thought I was a bit too harsh on some things, like banning WhitNiggr for not changing his name...which was apparantly a lost cause. And it would seem that I did a decent job as Luke made me a Super Mod here and Admin at WcSector
Now I'm not here to say you all suck and I rule but damnit guys, get your heads out of your asses. Anubis/Dreko, whatever the hell his new name is, happens to be a buddy of mine in real life and I've been told that Pant has deleted some of his posts because they were flames toward him. Pant, if you're going to ban or persecute everyone that says something bad about you...you do not deserve the trust Chesh gives you in making you a Super Mod. Really when you do things like that and not only get away with it but people praise you and claim you're the best mod ever! It makes me ashamed to say I ever held the same position as you.
I would also like to assure you if this is not settled or changed then I will speak to Luke and Chesh about making a change. And if you pull that "If you don't like how we run things then leave." Run them correctly...and there will be no problem.
[Edit] Also I'd like to add this is in Flame Wars to allow ALL comments. If you wish to have a go at me for posting this then by all means do so, but do expect some heat back.

Yeah, I just really hope you and I aren't the only ones noticing this kind of crap. I knoe Luke probably couldn't care less but maybe Chesh will do something? I don't know. I do know if I end up banned for this you can expect this to be 10x the situation with me and Muder, remember when Alli nearly demoted him to a normal member from a Super Mod. Then again Nubli almost went down for that one too...Sorry Nub, might wanna keep out of this one it might get ugly and I don't want ya to get in trouble on my account. Lol.

He made more accounts than were necessary, and he decided to flame me inappropriately. He was alright largely disliked around the forums, so I did what I thought had to be done and got rid of him.

Yes, there is a ton of spam floating around the forums. Nubli and I have developed our own ways of taking care of it. SilentWarrior had his warning.

Incorrect. The only posts I have ever deleted are my own, or posts in the DIIS clan forum as I was cleaning it out. I don't ban for everything said towards me, SilentWarrior was the only person I had ever banned for it. And in my opinion, the situation warranted it.
Things are kind of sketchy right now, yes. But once people realize the systems that Nubli and I have imposed, people will comply and spam will be reduced.
And for the record, the majority of my posts are legitimate. They weren't racked up in one of those game threads - I earned them.

Hey Spoony, my good 'ol pal. I actually really had nothing to do with the Silent situation; I allowed it to be their choice to give him the heave-ho. However, when he came back on another account (his name was f-ingbullshiz, and he made approximately 2 posts trying to defend his situation, aka flames), I banned that acccount because that is a bad bad thing to try and make a new account for "redeeming" your honorship (of which I have seen plenty of that going on during my period of staffship). All I want to see people do is use common sense while posting, and just to basically follow the simple rules outlined at our forums. For those who wish to now follow the rules, punishment will follow. While I am certainly not as leader-like as Nubli, Pant, Chesh, or Luke of course (for getting rid of those damn 0-1 post wonders), I still try to do my share of modding here in our own little world; Peace, man.

And I could have sworn Anubis showing me somethign and then it not being there...hmmm weird. I must be going crazy or something. We all go off topic sometimes...but I've not seen you trying to stop off topic spamming or anything or closing threads that desperately need to be closed. This isn't back seat modding this is a good old fashioned complaint and if thigns continue like this you guys should get used to em.
Also after speaking to Luke you're de-modded, not sure if permanent, and Silent has been unbanned.

This is why I banned him. It was an INAPPROPRIATE flame. It was a statement that was pretty much unacceptable... and I'm sure he knew it was going to happen.

Read the entire situation. If you don't know, SilentWarrior used to be "CallMeMaster" or something of the sort. (Which got banned, to the best of my knowledge) He then proceeded to make a few other accounts (Which UGM Banned, I believe) and he made that account. I was being flamed on a personal level, not for something I did on the forums. I deem that unfair - and if I permanently lose my moderator status for that; it's BS,
More than half the people I've ever talked to on the forums or In-game can tell you that I've helped them out in here, and that I make a suitable mod. The CURRENT moderators chose me to be the next, so that must mean that I was a help around the forums.
I'm sorry if you don't find the SilentWarrior case legitimate, but I did what I thought was right. If he's unbanned now, fine - But if he decides to flame back for anything that was said/done between the two of us, I'm gone.

He wasn't banned before he lost his password. He was told to take one account and stick with it so he did. I know it was CMM the reason everyone hates him is because of me. If I'm defending him...doesn't that atleast show somewhat how messed up that was? And the flame was about you being a Super Mod...in fact it was more of a joke and because YOU got butt hurt about it the guy was banned. Funny thing I think that's the first time I actually got a little chuckle out of what SW said, and not laughing at his intelligence. Personal or not it was a flame thread so you banning him was complete and utter bullshit
