Have you ever wanted a better experience with Windows XP? These resources should be helpful to you and I highly encourage their use.
Note: Some of these guides are complicated for inexperienced users and can often involve things like registry editting, If you are NOT familiar with registry editting I would not recommend attempting these on your own. But if you feel comfortable working within the registry and other sensitive places in your OS, I recommend proceeding.

For those looking to protect their precious investment from the outside world, Nathan Anderson has written a beautiful and simple guide to protecting your box from those who would attempt to harm it. It's a surface scratching guide to security applications, firewalls, and virii.
