No these aren't goths...these aer emo morons. Goths atleast freak people instead of demand sympathy from every person who talks to them.

I realize I'm getting into this late but I'm bored.

A gothic person, from my experience, is one of those "I don't conform" conformists. Not like punk in that the object was to not conform and rebel but in that it's a bunch of people who take some sort of pride of being outcasts. It isn't defined by how they dress or if they're depressed, it's more the attitude. Hell I wear mostly black and have been known to be a rather depressed person. But I am no goth. Ghost your opinions are not only borrowed but really just completely stupid I think. How long have you been out of highschool? Or are you even out? Have you even started high school yet?

Oh and since when does anything to do with Satanic worship come into play with goths? I thought metal heads and...you know Satanists had that? Besides that title was actually a quote from a Slipknot song...not really a "goth" band as most would say. More of a tear apart everything band.

we had an emo band at our school couple weeks back
me and my friend were walking from the lunch room when out of nowhere, 3 guys with a trumpet, a baratone, and a trombone started coming at us full speed while playing. strangely enough, it freaked me out for some reason

So much hatred, thats a goth for you. Anyways, I get what your saying, retarded gothic people listen to retraded gothic people music. I get it, its like a cult or something.

( Are you intentionally trying to get this moved to flame wars or something? Or are you mad because I insulted your cult? )

Kinda refers to part of the gothic culture. Quite frankly. They dont give a shit what you think,say/do. You can hate on them all you want, But at the end its nothing to do with stereotypes, They are people non the less. and if you want to hate on people because they do what they want, Then thats pure and simple Jealousy. Im not refering to these "Slit wrist Depressed" people either.

slit wrist people are those who cant summon up the courage to finish the job when they attempt suicide by cutting their own wrists
funny though. you'd think people who want to die would cut their neck or something that will bleed out quicker than a wrist

If you slit your wrists the correct way and actually take the time to find the right vein you will be passed out in 5min and dead in 10-15min. The quickest way is gun shot of course. Most painful is hanging considering most people do not know where to position the knot or how far of a drop they need in order to snap the neck. So most end up suffocating and that can take a bit.

The most original way I have ever heard of was this girl in colorado I think who took a long handle broom, stood it up between two chairs right in front of her fridge, got on top of the fridge naked and jumped so it went straight up the middle. The parents found the girl with the broom stick shooting straight out the top of her back. The down side is you have to be a women in order to pull it off.

Dont feel bad the first thing I did when I read about it was crack up laughing. Took a couple of minuets to actually have it sink in that she killed herself.

There use to be a site with graphic crime scene photos and strange medical things on the web. They had a crime scene photo of the broom stick girl. It was something like twosick4you.com but I dont think that is right.

TTT(EF's way of bumping, to the top)

On a probably hijacked note, gothic is WAY too universal. There's no way you can strap a single definition on such a word. Way too many people who have nothing in common go around using the term "gothic," to describe themself. I'd personally use the definition "A longing to be different and/or unique without compromising personal ethics or merits."

That always gets battled by "gothics" saying that they never wanted to be different or unique, that they were different and unique all along. I don't even try this type of thing anymore

Are you saying it matters how old you are for you to have an unfortunate life?

I doubt he means that, I think he means kids who have not had any hardship in life and they just say they did for attention, which quite a lot do.
