I'm not religious but when anyone who leads an entire religion of more than one billion people dies, it's sad.

I didn't real think much of him, And it IS sad that he died, But it doesn't realy mean that much to me. He's just another figurehead in my view. but i respect everyone else being sad.

Thats my view, He knew like what 13 languages? And yes, he was like the only public pope ever. Hell hes one of the few non corrupt Popes, all the other ones in history used their power to start shit. Otherthan that hes the same as the English Monarchy to me, just a figure.

he is also the most traveled pope. from what i hear. he has traveled more than all other popes before him combined. i may not agree with him but i admire his dedication in leading his fight for what he believes in

Although I'm very non-religious, I do find that it's a very sad topic for diplomatic viewpoints solely. The man was willing to travel to all ends of the world to send messages of peace and restoration (as well as Catholicism, but I try to overlook that), and he was essential in the removal of Communism from Poland.
