chesh, sorry if reviving old thread, but i saw you contact some isp's. Do you actually talk to the people in the provider and tell them to cancel so and so's email service, or how would that work out. I can imagine some p!ssed off parents.

I called them on the phone and explained what he was doing, gave them the IP address, date, and time. They did the rest and apologized like mad to me. They called his parents and B!tched them out pretty good, so I can imagine the trouble he got into.

Oooh, and if he had AOL it's a real problem when they lock your account. When I was younger I sent about 100 emails to my brothers account (Same computer) because I was bored, and AOL decided I was sending viruses out. Needless to say I was 10, and I had no idea it was wrong to do, but anyway they locked our AOL account and even continued to bill us several months after the incident. If I remember correctly, they also locked our compuserv account which is why we now have Comcast cable :p
