battle net

I have posted this in help and thgen found this section and coulnt move the topic so sry about that. I tried chesshires way with the reg keys but bnet doesnt log on. I downloaded a bot and the d2 loader over wrote my d2 game file and it doesnt let me sign on to bnet saying something wrong with connection. i have uninstalled and reinstalled yet doesnt work. any one knows what is wrong ive been off bnet for a good bit and would like to get back on.
