Diablo II: LOD is the expansion of Diablo II. You can basicly get it at any game store for about 10 euros, or 10-15 dollars.

and to answer your first question, which you should have known by coming to this website, diablo II expansion is a really addictave game were your main quest(in this version) is to kill baal, an evil ruler, in diablo II no expansion(nox) your main quest is to kill diablo(the devil in spanish ). Along your quest you will find many rare and unique items that will help your character defeat the evil monsters you will encounter, include 5 act bosses, act 1, act 2, act 3, act 4, and act 5 which is baal. After you have completed normal difficulty, your character will be transported back to act one with no waypoints(these teleport you to different places in any act) and no quests in the difficulty mode called nightmare, or nm for d2 lingo . After you complete Nightmare mode, which the monsters gain more health, give more experiance and some with start to become immune to certain kinds of magic(physical, magic, poisen, cold, fire and lightning), you will, once again, be transported to the final mode, hell mode. and for any kind of character, it surely lives up to its name, almost every monster is immune to one of the stated immunities above and are way tougher, and can pack quite a punch, which can be quite brutal if playing alone. Now there is 2 more options of play, i will cover each briefly, Open battle net is if you prefer A TON of hacking, hacked items that you will not normally find in your normal single player or closed battle net. same gameplay rules apply, aside from no patches, or no rules. Now closed battle net is run on multiple servers and realms, after you choose a realm, and creat your battle net account(this is not nessecary if your not gonna play on it) you wil be at a character select screen and be promted to creat a new character, your single player or open battle net characters will not be playable in closed battle net, i wont get into that only because it would take way too long, but after you creat your character of choice, you will be moved to a main menu of sorts with a button to enter a chat room, help, creat game, join game, and various other menus, now, same gameplay rules as single however with open, no hacking is allowed on closed battle net, also, you can make public games since closed is an online version of diablo II, it is still the same game, but anyone with that game can play on it, with up to 8 other players in a single game. This makes it much easier making it through acts with other people to conquer all immunities you may run accross. I hope i have not just given you a brief walkthrough and i have swayed your desicsion to purchase a fine copy of this game, and I, along with many others, will rate this game an 11/10

Go to a Half Priced Books, may or may not have one by you, but they usually sell the Diablo Battle Chest for aobut 16 or 17 dollars.

Hahaha, I used to kill for fun! I would go into Hell mode, tell people to give me their tp's because "I have them hotkeyed and I can cast faster", and I would take them to like the den of evil or something. We would kill a few things and get far away from the entrance. Then I would tp back to town, hostile them, and kill them because #1 they had no tp's. And #2 they couldn't use mine. But yeah, I do not do that anymore, hehehe.
