I could not see any thread about this, and I just learned about it today. I was wondering if anyone else does it or what not...
You are in a baal run with maximum number of people in the game (eight), and you just arrive at the minions, and right before you kill the first set of minion, you have two people unparty and then once that first set of minions is dead, they rejoin. Supposedly what happens is that you get 1/8 more experience when you do this. I was trying it, and it seemed like I got more exp than when I did a normal run.
Can anyone verify is that is true, or untrue?

it might work if they are in town because i think exp is only gained if they are there, the partying might not have anything to do with or the fact that you are at minions. might just be any monsters. u get 1/8 experience extra experience per player there is my opinion-theory:p

It's true, the "exp glitch" is a good way to get a little more exp than usual.

Diablo, I am saying get more experience than you would if you already had 8 players in the game

If there are 8 people doing a baal run, they're all in the throne of destruction.
Right before they finish killing the imps, the first wave, two people leave the 8 person party. The 6 partied people kill the second wave, the skeletons and stuff, and then after they're dead, they re-invite the 2 people who left. They remain in party together for the duration of the run, and everyone benefits 12.5% more than they would regularly.

Ok, i get it, so after they leave, its like they were never really there and instead of like 8 people, its 10?

That10 pople in the game thign wouldnt work. Just because someone leaves a party, the monsters dont magically get harder. That is only when more peopel join the game
