I have to say, it's pretty obvious that the song DOES contain a "Satanic message".

First of, I've never listened to Led Zeppelin songs in my entire life before I read about the rantings about a "Satanic message" right here in this very topic. And you guys are very naive to say "songs are not meant to be played backwards". Ok, so who told you that?. Technology enables us to play records backwards, which was already possible when the song came out on a LP. The words "Satan" and ESPECIALLY "666" are CLEARLY noticeable in the reversed audio sample, you simply can't deny that fact.

And even when you play it like it's 'supposed to be' played..."There are 2 path's you can go by? There's still time to change the road you're on?" Sorry, but that almost sounds like an invitation to play it backwards to me (think about it with artistic motives), and when you do, you get the subliminal message. At first, just like you, I thought it was complete bullshit. But after some logical thinking, plus the whole theory behind the toolshed that he mentions in the reversed lyrics, add to that the standing out "666" and 3x "Satan" vocals in a very short amount of time that even Stevie Wonder can see, ehhhh hear, it puts the pieces to the puzzle IMO.

I know that most of you are, for some reason convinced that it's not true, and I'm not intending to burst your bubble ladies, but when you play a song with the title "stairway to heaven" backwards, you're taking the other road, the second path, down the stairs, think about it.

I swear that I havn't listen to Led Zeppelin tracks before (at least not with full consciousness), since 90% of the time I only listen to Techno and related dance music, no rap, rock, pop, -insert crappy music genre here-. <insert any="" other="" crappy="" music="" genre="" here=""> Hell, I'm not even American, and English is not my first language -.-''

Here's another site, that even offers the audio sample for download so you can varify it yourself, both Albinoblacksheep and this site use nearly the same sample, though instead of "He'll give you give you 666" the lyrics at this page say "He'll give those with him 666". I had to make sure so downloaded the full mp3 with LimeWire, reversed it, and came to the conclusion that the audio ain't fake. The "exact" lyrics are discussable, but most parts are for certain crystal clear.

If you still think it is, do it yourself and then tell me what's fake about it </insert>

Get over that trip. In my Grandmother's acid days (we're all hippies in my family and I proudly embrace and admit it) she heard this shit, and reversed the ORIGINAL Zeppelin 5 Vinyl. Yeah, in her tripped mind out she heard it. In her sober mind she heard it.

In her goddamned living room I heard it. It's the same audio on the web as it is on the ORIGINAL (and by original, I mean the vinyl sold months within the release) record. You can deny the fact it adds up all you want, but some words are just too clearly noticable. I actually played the reversed song for one of my buddies without him knowing what it was or seeing lyrics. Gave him goosebumps, the shit was full of "bad karma" as he put it (and I agree completely) and freaked him out. He first clearly Satan, and then claimed to have heard "six-six-six." Alas, he 'thought' he heard "Tool". When I showed him the (interprited) lyrics and what song it was actually from, well, we never slept that night.




For you guys who totally dismiss this as conspiracy, you obviously (which is probably normal, I don't expect everyone to be total music nerds, alas me) don't know the personal history of the band or the band members, especially Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. Between the religious and recreational activities of these people, the general NATURE of the song (as pointed out by another poster) and the energy the clip gives off reversed (I believe in Karma and a 'physical' energy.. call me a dork, I don't give two shits) I don't see how anyone can just totally say it's BS and move on. There is clearly atleast something to be looked at here. With both Page and Plant in age and much older than they are physically.. the high cost of low living, (Lol at ABB plug, I bet nobody would have guessed) any day we can expect our heros to pass. When they're gone, we'll never really know.

I would listen to that track, but I'm afraid it'll scare the bejeezus out of me. It's pretty late, I'm getting tired, and I'm a little jumpy at the moment, so I think I'll listen to it tomorrow with some friends over so I'm mellow.
