How are you taking it?

I'm graduating next week to high school and lately I've been all emo about the fact that I'm not going to spend alot of time with the friends I have right now. This is a serious thing for me. I haven't been this emotional for a long time. Any tips? Helpful thing? How are you your self taking this?

Ahhh, it gets better. If you go to college, friends will be replaced (also, hopefully kept).. a true friend is hard to find. If they're legit, they are definitely not just gonna up and leave ya. All your true brothers and sisters WILL remember you.. just don't forget that.

I fell hard when I left HS as well. Sucks, but you do get over it. I traveled all last summer, and it felt great to get out of Florida and meet new people. I'm not saying you should just up and leave and find yourself (like I did for 4 months), but it's definitely an experience. I'm thinking about pulling another nomad move soon

When I started high school, there was a major zone change and 3/4 of the people I knew went to a new school.

Not too good, but you find other people in activities that you do, etc.

High School is just like Middle School, without the drama. Although there are occassional fights

But really, nobody really cares about anybody anymore.

I don't care. The kids at my school hate and reject me. I can't wait to get out of this hell hole. Plus college means I get to live with my girlfriend. That's my dream right now..just to be with my girlfriend all the time.

Just have patience, things will get way better soon.

Yeh, I graduated last night. It was pretty nostalgic, but yeh its not that bad as long as you keep in contact with some of your friends. Friendship is hard to break, so hopefully the fact that you may be living far away from them won't break the chains of the everlasting experience known as friendship. Plus, as many other people said, you will make many new friends in the future, so you'll always have someone to look to as a friend.

All you underclassmen who think you hate high school.. there existed not one high school hater bigger than I. I "hated it" and hated 99% of my classmates.

Then I graduated.

I fell the hardest, and i'm enough of a man to admit it.

I felt great when I graduated HS last May. I think it was basically a sigh of relief. Mostly because of what people saw me as, a homosexual. My best friend is gay so I'm gay by association. 99% of my school were those ignorant white americans that hate minorities and anything slightly ascrew from their thought of a 'pure society'. Here's a quote said by most of them, "We need to bomb the San Andreas fault and make California an Island, then put all the blacks, gays, and mexicans on it and send it out to sea. We also just need to nuke the ENTIRE middle east!"

I hated it, I was heckled constanly and actually feared for my safety a few times. But I am out now and 150 miles away from the bigots I grew up with. Sure, I'll have to make new friends now that everyone went their seperate ways, But I deal with it.

Same im graduating next week into highschool, I don't really mind alot cause from what I heard grade 9 is fun.

I just finished up my 9th grade year and I'd have to say that 9th grade was fun. The work was difficult, but that was mainly because I had all Pre-AP classes and I really didn't believe in doing my homework at home... And really, I was just with the people that I had been around with the years before.

HS Isnt As Bad as people say i didnt know anybody becaue i just transfer but i made friends then jus staerted to hang with people
