My last cd of diablo 2 boomed so i had to re-install diablo 2 and another ****ing problem is going on now... when I install 1.10 patch its tell me that :
Blizzard PrePatch v2.70 compiled on Sep 9 2003
This program patches Diablo II Expansion

ERROR: unable to execute command 'D:\Diablo II\Diablo II\BNUpdate'
Access is denied.
RESULT: Prepatch failed
How do i fix that ?? PLZ HELP ME!!

Hmm, install from
www.battle.net download the patch and install manually.

if that doesnt work, try reinstalling. I think that the file just didnt install correctly.

re install dialbo 2 entirely that sould do it since i had the same problem before

after uninstalling try deleting the folder too.

sometimes if the cd is damaged on the bottem it cant read a file its supposed to install and will skip it. so that may be a problem. clean your cd bottems with some cd cleaner and then reinstall EVERYTHING to a new directory so it doesnt skip over it again. hope this helps

Remember even after deleting it it still show's up in you're program list so make sure to remove it from there to.

Ya i know. But the **** is WARCRAFT 3 IS DOING SAME THING NOW... I REINSTALLED BUT IT DOES SAME THING !!! ASSHOLE COMPUTER !! Im thinking to buy another now. And oh yea it's not the cd it's the hard drive I think. Neway it makes 5 years that im having same comp.

My comp just sux before I had 128 mb of memory and I couldn't even play 2 seconds diablo without lagging.

get a new cpu
that will help alot... if you have the same problem with it on ur new cpu( if you get one) then PM me and we will figure it out together.
Sometimes older computers cant take newer games if you have installed NEWER virus protection Spyware killer addwere killer and such... just telling ya a new cpu isnt your only option... after that step three is send you computer specifications to a blizzard employee on the website and with in like a day they'll send you how to problem shoot your problem hope it helps

yes but it was playing it before... it was all ok cuz I added 128 mb of memory. It was working until my cd drive boomed.
