Ok, so I'm thinking like.... When you sign up after or before you hit the agree to terms thing it displays the rules for like 2 minutes or something with no link to go forward. After 2 minutes it goes to the next page? Good or bad?

Good idea in theory, bad idea in execution, as most people still won't read em. Plus, even if they read em, they won't abide by em. But yeah, it's worth doing.

You sure you want 2 minutes? After the first 60 I'd say "f*ck these fourms" and find another (thats if i was new, I love these fourms). I think 60 seconds with a timer would be good.

You (a bot actually) could send every new member a PM saying the basics of the rules.

I don't think people are still going to read them. I think they are just going to open a new explorer window and do something else while they are waiting...
