What is the point of buying pixels? I play D2:LOD to have fun, not to show off... (that's probably why I am not godly, but still... I'm having fun)

If I have the spare money and actually wanted the item bad enough, Sure, i'd buy an item.

The way I see it, It's just like buying Popcorn and a soda at the movies. It's just something to make the experience better. And just like the snacks at the movies, it's not really talked about after it's said and done.

Well just to say sumtin to throw it out...i been looking at the d2legit.com alot latly since all ym friends have been going there....and i realized its one of the best site...u can trade diablo items in for store credit.......get good money for em and either take the money of save it up in store credits and buy sumtin godly...when ladder seaon 3 comes out i am gonna think to invest alot of my time in d2legit and mayb invest some money into it but since how the whole store credit thing goes i like it.....I never rly thought of buyinh ne items at all till i started playing ladder....i hate being poor.....its like one of the worst things since i been rich on nonladder for soooooooooo long....nowere near dynas power tho cuz he i swear owns sumtin that makes him better then everyone else....lol

But in ladder season 3 i am totally thinking about buying items.....nows it just pointless since i actually worked on getting decent on ladder (my first time mfing in like a year was on ladder)

if i wanted an item bad enough, sure, why not? i honestly would if i watned some runes THAT bad and had the extra cash. i got a partial tal and ethreal merc now, so i can do meph and have my fun

Im 17 and work at wendy's from 11-5 on fridays and saturdays. When im tired of going to the movies or ordering oriental food I do occasionally buy items from http://www.weid2.com for real money. I know some may frown on this, and it is perfectly understandable, but I work hard for the little money I make and i think that i should be able to spend it on what i want, even if i cannot touch the thing i buy.


Look at it this way, some people play basketball and enjoy buying new basketballs and new basketball shoes, while some people play d2 and enjoy buying d2 items. In america buying virtual items for a game is looked upon with deciet, however in places like south korea or japan where gaming is more popuar than actual sports, it's widely accepted as the norm.

there's nothing wrong with it. people who belittle it think they're too hot to spend money on a game they've already spent money on. they're what my white *** likes to call HATERS.


i'm thinking about buying 5x runes for 7$. i have the money in my paypal, but i really don't play d2 all that much
