Need Some HELP

Simple question guys, how do i avoid getting screwed with duped items, is there anyway to avoid it, or better my chances of getting legit items?

Any runes you get, put them on a muel until you trade them, perm all the time. About all you can do.

Since I'm a member of d2jsp, if I have a rune that I know I'm not going to be using, I'll trade it in for fg. Fg doesn't poof. When I need a rune, I set up all the other runes required for a runeword and trade my fg in for the rune, then socket the item in that game. Or the mule thing, that'll work too.
