Six Asprin...
#1
All my poems have a bit of a depression, maybe you'd say emo theme... So if your gonna bag on me about being emo or whatever... Just save your breathe... I get it enough every day. Heres one of my poems...

"Six Asprin"
According to the bottle,
"Dont take any more than eight"
It suggests a dose of two,
But i need more to meet my fate.
The safety cap cant stop me,
with tears running down my face.
My vision and mind a blur,
my beating heart no saving grace.
With twenty capsules in my hand,
I feel my courage waver.
But when hatred fills my ears again,
Suicide is my savior.
Round white pills look so harmless,
Yet they have amazing power.
Can't a bottle cure this plague called life,
Is two cure pain in an hour?
Two down, the required dose,
Two more, that makes four,
Six now, am i dying yet?
No, silly... you need more.
I need more... I need more,
But what if i don't die?
I'll just end up at the hospital,
and ill have to explain why.
The screaming has subsided,
Nothing feeds my deadly quest.
Ive stopped at only six,
Ill get sick or dizzy, at best.
Still, i ressume my crying
I just dont understand
Why couldnt i go through with it?
I had the weapon in my hand...
Someones pounding on the door,
i unlock it in a daze.
theyre still all fuming, mad at me,
the worlds a crimson haze.
I take a half-full bottle,
and before i put it in my drawer,
I read the label carefully
'Expires February '05'.
I almost
Did the same...

I liked all of it, exept the 'No, silly....' part. And this may be off topic but what happens to asprin after it expires?

You know whats sad about pill suiciders? That alot of times the pill OD causes you to throw up and since you are already passed out you end up drowning in your own vommit. Kind of ironic I guess.

Well done by the way.

Probably because I fail to appreciate the beauty in what I see around me constantly.
