wuts the best mf to have?

ok im probably stupid cuz i figure this out but o well

ive found good stuff at 450mf and good stuff at 600mf but thats just once in awhile so do i need to raise my mf or do i need to lower it

if some1 knows a good mf to use plz let me know

You have to find a good balance between killing speed and amount of MF. I found around 450 is perfectly manageable with a blizz sorc, without waisting too much killing speed. (I had 3.5-3.8k damage or so. which is enough for bosses)
The gear I used:
Tal armor
Tal belt
Tal Amulet
Occu
Lidless
Chance guards
Wartravs
40% Gheeds
some mf scs

On switch I put a gull dagger/rhyme shield, added to a total of 57X MF

Found myself some reasonable items with that.

Yeh blizz sorc is pretty good. I use one too, but instead of the tals set-up, i use the skullders setup:

Eth upped skullders (w/ptopaz)
+3 cold skills ammy
Snowclash
Shako (w/ptopaz)
occy/splendor(wizzy+spirit on switch for tele)
p Chancies
War travs
2x pnagels
gheeds+some smfc's

Yea, i don't have mf items on switch because i don't feel like switching at the last minute, plus the fcr gear i have on switch is good for helping me tele to meph. As for the numbers, this gives me around 470% mf, and my damage is about 5.2k-5.5k. The only bad thing is that my resists are low, seeing that the tal's setup can give you some nice resists (the armor being the main part of that).

399% is the best.
When you pass 400+% you go on to another MF level where you find lesser uniques and more magic and rare items.

I find that 500% is a good amount. You won't be able to tell the difference between 500 and 600.

I just go with w/e the char has, whether its 100 or 700 drops are always nice.
